My uncle was a huge fan. We from oakland ca but he grew up on e-40 he even met him once in alameda ca and my uncle excitingly approached 40 but he was with security and lil john. The security told him to back up but 40 was like hes good and he dapped my uncle up. I think that was one of the best days of my uncle’s life. That was 06-07 but he passed away in 2012. Rip unc

The song is on this album, Filthy Phil ‎- Consequences (Vinyl, 12") - 1990 Interesting fact, he later released the 1992 EP -"The Manhunt" while on the run from the FBI. I still remember when 'Sprinkle Me' was first played on Yo! MTV Raps. 40 sounded completely different to all the East Coast rappers who were big at the time. Over here in the UK we only really got East Coast Hip hop on the radio, so 40 really stood out, like an exotic bird landing in a sea of grey pigeons.
