Күн бұрынFlying a circle and drifting with the wind to accommodate the long wire. I don't think they need to do the circles if they are just trailing the short wire.
The E-6 was not transmitting full ADS-B so its position was triangulated by several ADS-B receivers (MLAT or multilateration)

Still good enough to make out the circles.
