E-AT Honda Civic Kanjo build with Mugen Motul Rothmans livery

Got a new project car! A 1986 Honda civic, also known as a Wonder civic, civic wonder, sb3 civic, e-at civic, 3g civic, flatbooty civic and it probably has a few more aliasses. Why can't they just pick a single name to keep it easy, like a civic EF9, civic EK9 or civic EG6. Anyways, it's a Kanjo inspired project and it will be used for something special which I will reveal at the end of the video.

Objectively the 4g is better in every way, but the 3g just has a certain something that the 4g lacks. It's hard to explain!

@@TheMidnightGarage Considering most kanjo teams arose in the era of the 3G Civic I understand. Obviously the 4G was better but if we were going by which was the best then the EK9 would just win every time. The best thing about kanjo is that there are eras of Kanjo and it isn't just limited to Civics either.

Hahah so true! The funny thing is that the japanese pronunciation and the dutch pronunciation of mugen is the same but once you start talking in english it instantly becomes myugen lol

U could easily make a slight HP jump with that engine just by changing the cam, swapping that intake and carb set up for some side draft webers!

I too fought with myself over gutting my EF hatches, I eventually did it but it does suck a little in the sense that we have to sacrifice a classic cars purity to turn it into a kanjo styled car.

I bought a 2000 civic hatch that has a d16z6 swapped into it.has a p28 ecu. And the car was converted from automatic to manual transmission. But the wiring harness is all hacked up and the car isn't running due to the wiring not being connected properly. I'm going to use a whole different wiring harness.what harness should I use? My budget isn't high enough for a rywire harness so I will be getting a harness off a car in the junk yard.so any info on what harness I should use will be greatly appreciated

Fair point! I cut it in such a way so that it can be easily fiberglassed together. If you find someone willing to ship me 5 bumpers at their expense ill be more than happy to fiberglass it back together and ship the erebuni bumper their way :)
