When i was 13, i had to ride my ten speed 26 miles a day to school and back twice, because my step sister was going to driver's training, and was afraid of this german shepherd that would chase her. The dog chased me once, tried to bite me, and i kicked it as hard as i could in the head, and it never chased me again. I wish i would have had one of these back in 1983, because it would have been a lot easier to do that long ride. That battery looking like a gas tank was a good idea, but the name of the tires had me cracking up, made me think of that first kia yute video you put out lol. I do drive a kia soul, bought it new in 2019, because of the warranty, and being cobbled up as i am with progressive MS, needed something for longer drive's. You and JD are great, hope you get hitched to Jess, you all work good together. G-d bless.
@KHALABEEBАй бұрын
Dalton, those are GOVERNED from the factory, getting into MAINTENANCE MODE (usually) holding up and down arrows together for 3 seconds will allow you to CHANGE TOP SPEED. YOU CAN ALSO UP THE COMPUTERS TIRE SIZE TO GIVE EVEN MORE POWER. Hope you see this, and have fun (if you do this, wear a helmet....seriously 😂)
@Richard-s5s3u27 күн бұрын
Changing the tire size does not give it more speed it makes the speedometer read incorrect.

Cool bike, love seeing JD having fun! But I gotta agree with the other comments about helmets...I recommend a full face (no, it's not overkill...ask me how I know) and also gloves and boots, and to avoid road rash substantial weight long pants and long sleeves. It's really no fun when they have to clean the debris from your flesh with a pumice stone. Be safe, have fun!

A little disappointed that there wasn't any Japanese audio on this one but loved it all the same. Also, a bike like that would be great for road trips just in case you ran out of gas or needed to make a parts store run.

I lived in versailles Missouri back in the early eighties and had a paper route delivering the Sedalia Democrat. Most of the route was in town easy riding but there was one house that was out of town down hill two miles and that two miles back up was miserable on the ol super goose BMX. One of these rigs would have been really nice to have back then.

Buy that kid a proper clapped out 125cc dual-sport dirt motorcycle. It'll cost you less than 1500 bucks. If he gets interested in 2 wheel death machines it's best to start them early so they learn not to be stupid. Also it'd be fun to watch you make him fix it.
@hiredgoon4269Ай бұрын
Nah, get like a YZ125, or some other 125 2 smoke. They're cheap, fast, and fun, and it would be a better fit for him.
@Sean-mo5unАй бұрын
@@hiredgoon4269 I suppose I was thinking a really old 4-stroke would be a good fit because they already have so much stuff sitting around they barely have time to maintain. Mixing gas and haulin' ass is fun but more time consuming.

I just bought my first ebike. I got the Freesky Alaska M20 Pro. Claims of up to 145 mile range with dual batteries and a 1200w motor. On the factory max pedal assist I got it to 36.7 MPH. Plenty fast but there's always faster. You can either buy new controllers or get into maintenance mode depending on your bike and jack this up. I think the controller you can buy for mine claims 48 mph max but they want $150 or so for it. I've had my bike for 3 weeks and have 50 miles on it - love it. The 'free' twist throttle got lost between China and Florida so I'm thumbing it for now. Wear a fucking helmet!

front mudguard is on backwards the long bit goes at rhe rear of the tyre, is it not supposed to be peddle assist also. so in theory your not supposed to just rely on the battery on its own. the chinese are getting good at these cheaper ebikes that and the price they are doing esuvs in austraila, south america, and europe and the big western bike and car companies are going to be in real trouble in a few years, if there not already.
