Nice little camp, it's so relaxing just watching. The heated jacket's a brilliant idea. It's great to get away from all the noise and nonsense to the peace and quiet of nature. Thanks for posting.

Brilliant to see a bike camp Adrian, the panniers will be a game changer 👍 loving the heated coat , ideal for a cold arse like me 🥶 atb Dave

Hi Dave, I enjoyed it for sure, I went the last few miles home without battery which was hard as the gears don’t go low enough for my legs on the hills ! Will do a coastal camp before I invest to make sure it’s for me, the rucksack should stay on if I am on the road and not bouncing along gravel !! Coat is great for short walks or on a bike I need the battery as not up to your fitness Cheers Adrian

A great camp as always. Your an inspiration for bivvy camping and your in my eyes the best at it. I haven’t done many but you have inspired me to do more and I will be doing one this Friday and look forward to it. The heated jacked looks good quality and is very handy when you in this weather too. Hope to see you on a hill something Adrian and keep up the great blogs. Atb Mark

Hi Craig, thanks for watching, I really can’t envisage using a tent very much, I can camp anywhere in the bivy, had a zip put in the Hunka and I am sourcing a MLD bivy, it’s so light ! Cheers Adrian

Piece of advice get militry pouch, belt. Put water container s on this, and other heavy items. This takes the weight, other items can go in the pack. Saves putting all the weight on you back and shoulders. Hope it helps

Hi and thanks for watching, glad you enjoy the journeys, they are there for a memory for the kids Honestly the hooped bivy is the best by far, heavy I know but warm, breathable reliable protection, mine will be out again soon, I need the zip !!!!! Cheers Adrian

That's great. I see some fancy electric mountain bikes around where I backpack. Sounds nice to get to a camp in an hour or two instead of 10 lol. If I had one around I'd probably already try but I want to resist for now. I want to keep hiking to get around. For my health and endorphins 😅
@northumberlandmountainhopper2 ай бұрын
Hi rod, I agree I enjoyed it for a change but do prefer hiking,you see more when you are not watching the ground to avoid things etc My main aim is for one or two on the coast, so I don’t have to park up and leave the car Cheers Adrian

Ortlieb panniers & bags if you can mate, they're guaranteed waterproof & good quality.
@northumberlandmountainhopper2 ай бұрын
Hi and thanks for watching, I know they are the best but I am just dabbling at the minute, I may consider one large ortlieb rack bag and fix a small rucksack on the front, or just cheap ones to start, Not sure I will do it that often as the bike hinders how far off the path you can go, did enjoy it mind. Cheers Adrian

Hi Tarn, glad you enjoyed it, lol the coat will be excellent for a night in the forest or if on the bike, But not for the hills it’s a bit heavy So hopefully will stick to a battery pack for the phone and watch, I want to cut down the weight lol Cheers Adrian

Exactly the information I was looking for. So much easier than walking. I am in the Peak District this weekend with my Tarp. I made racks for the front and back of my bike with M8 studding obtained cheaply from the electrical wholesaler. I used a brake pipe bender to shape the rod and I used assorted EURO clamps which are rubber lined on the handle bars and stem. Load stays on tight that way. Make the rack broad.

Hi and thanks for watching, it was a great experience, I will do some more, but I prefer to walk, so I see more and find hidden spots, Enjoy your trip, I only ever dabbled in the Peak District, probably missed out there, Cheers Adrian Cheers Adrian

@@northumberlandmountainhopper Thank you Adrian for taking the time to reply. The format of your videos where you survive on the most minimal of gear brings back memories of camping age 16 around 1972.. We never paid to camp the night back then.
