I dont know how practicall it is, but i think its great for lowering weapon wear. Ive heard of really weared down training rifles that tend to jam a lot. Also its propably really cheap compared to shooting a lot of blanks. But is the muzzle part really this light blue? Would be better to be orange/yellow mix, to gives a powder burn color. Overall great idea. The best thing is, that its drop in instead of a standalone system. But i not fully understand the use, i mean you cant do target practice because it doesnt hit the target, you cant do bluefor vs opfor training, because it doesnt has hit indication like the laser training system with helmet light receptor.

This is a cool idea, but not a great one for military use. "Train as you fight". If you are using blanks, you will get used to the sounds, the shockwave and the smell during firing, you know the sounds the weapon makes when it misfires etc. You can practice reloading mags with blanks during combat drills. The weapon behaves just like live fire, just a bit smaller recoil, but you could still kill a person if you are not doing what youre supposed to.
