Thank you for the series. About continuing to use it or not, i think you should continue using it because i think you’re helping them, they already have a pull request to fix that problem with relations you had. Directus is amazing and im sure you think the same

@@WatchandLearnTutorials What are your thoughts on Directus at the moment? Compared to Payload CMS?

@@taunado Directus is still great, it has much more features out of the box. So if I would be developing something that uses existing features of Directus, without much custom coding I would go for Directus. However if I'm building something really small (just a simple Blog for example) I would use Payload, but also if I'm building something more complicated with a lot of custom functionality I would probably use Payload for that also, because everything is done with code and it seems like it would be easier to implement more complicated features in it than Directus.

Thank you for all your tutorials and especially for this Directus 9 series! Very well done and a BIIIIIG help! Working along with a slightly different setup (and Directus being at v9.11.1), I can report that the category_id relation problem that you mention in this video, seems to be fixed. At least in my case I can define a condition with a specificly assigned category_id, ID, (and even combine multiple conditions) and it works. Directus is really fantastic!

And with checkboxes create separate field for each attribute like have_colors and have_sizes with value 1. Then select if not null show field.

I never used this framework so I'm only guessing. Think multiple checkboxes might return array of values so comparing one value in condition is not working as expected.

Please try other way. Don't set field as hidden by default. Set sizes hidden when product category is mug or hat and color hidden when category is t-shirt
