What elevator throw were you using on the maiden. The Low rates or high rates listed in the manual? It calls for 10mm and 7mm which does not seem like very much. Mine is ready to go - just trying to confirm control surface throw with folks that have flown the plane before my maiden.
@MerryBoozerRC4 жыл бұрын
High rate all the way I actually changed control horn holes so I could get more elevator
@iflyrc54 жыл бұрын
@@MerryBoozerRC Did you move both the servo to the outer hole and the control surface to the inner hole? I set the rates in the TX to 100% as recommended in the manual but only got the 7mm that it states is the low rate setting. I moved the control surface linkage to the inner hole but still not much throw - will move the servo link to the outer hole tomorrow. Don't want to try a maiden if I can't flair the landing. I think will put in some extra expo so it is not too sensitive in case I have too much throw.

Ted Brindle I did move to the outer hole on the servo also I like the way it flys much better with more elevator authority at slow speed now.

If changing tires, why go smaller?
