Thank you!! I have been searching for the answer to binding a taildragger and you confirmed what I suspected! Starting at the 23 minute mark in your video you explained that you need to raise the tail when binding, so that the aircraft is in straight and level "flight" position, and not in the "nose up" position as it is sitting on its landing gear. I wish E-flite would mention that in their manuals, so that new flyers like myself wouldn't have to figure it out. Now here's my next question: Do I only need make sure the plane is in level "flight" position when initially binding it to my transmitter or do I need to do that every time I connect a battery to the receiver? Just an FYI, if using a transmitter using OpenTX, you may have to reverse rudder and aileron to get joystick/switch activation procedure to work.

Help please. I still can't get my SAFE turned on. My plane does the dance twice when it starts up, the Spektrum Programme software on my PC also states that my rx (AR636A) is now in SAFE mode and has the word safe in its name but I still don't see the SAFE function working. I get AS3X movements only. When I invert the plane I do not get the rapid movement I should be getting with SAFE on in other words the plane does not try and roll over to correct its self. The switch (3 position switch) I have assigned appears to work as on the first position it is off altogether and on the second and third position it is on AS3X only, when the third position should be for SAFE. The flight modes I have set are on FM1 it is off, FM2 is 40% gain rate and 150% priority, and FM3 is 40% gain rate and 150% priority. I have also followed the binding process and stick alignment process shown in this video but to no avail. Can I pls get help.

I have a nx 10 and an old ar636 a and cant get safe to assign to anything other then gear channel retracts up safe on retracts down safe ode off the gimbals down an in don’t work to assign a switch
