Whether you’re a low-time pilot looking for a “next step” model after mastering your trainer and you’re interested in learning to perform more advanced aerobatics, or you’re an experienced pilot looking for an all-around fun-to-fly sport model, the E-flite Sportix 1.1m is a perfect choice. It’s designed to be capable of basic, precision, and aggressive aerobatics while also being smooth, stable, and predictable in every phase of flight. It was also designed to include a variety of modern-day features and conveniences, from LED navigation lights to a two-piece horizontal stabilizer and wings with hands-free servo connections that can be installed and removed without the use of tools or fasteners. Yet it’s also conveniently sized to be easy to store and transport without disassembly so that it can be flown at large parks, sports fields, and RC flying fields. Factory-installed digital and metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages provide precise and reliable control at every speed. The power system includes a Spektrum outrunner motor and an Avian 45-amp Smart Lite ESC compatible with popular 3S and 4S 2200-3200mAh batteries. The BNF Basic version also has a factory-installed Spektrum AR631 receiver featuring exclusive and enhanced AS3X+ along with optional-use SAFE Select technologies. Looks like a great little performer! The slightly smaller size makes it a great candidate to be a trunk plane to just keep with you to get flights whenever you happen to have some time. Excellent platform for those who want to get their feet wet with more aggressive aerobatics and it seems to have the precision that is typically lacking from older style sport planes.

Day 3 of asking horizon to make a Valiant V2. Nav lights, easy connect wings, battery compartment is in the cockpit. 3s and 4s. I love my valiant so much, it’s a great scale flyer and I hope horizon makes a V2 that has more features. Very underrated plane, should upgrade.

Why would you care what KZbinrs say? Only you know your skill level.

reviewers lol. but surely a good plane.
@Brian_Christensen07RCАй бұрын
I wouldn’t worry about most youtube critics to be honest. Most of them are mediocre at best and can’t actually tell the difference from one plane to another (not all of them of course)

Different paint applied using a different process from a different factory that stays attached and doesn't fade!

Why avian lite 😢
@HorizonHobbyProductsАй бұрын
This was ultimately decided in order to keep weight and overall cost down for this aircraft. You still have plenty of one-wire telemetry information at your disposal! :)

@truenaturestormers2525Ай бұрын
With tax around 300, not to bad.
@Axoys_AviationАй бұрын
@truenaturestormers2525 for 300 I could get a flex plane
@das.ruderbootАй бұрын
Not really. As an example, the FMS MXS V2 PNP is 250€ in Germany (all over Europe I guess), and the Sportix BNF is 300€. Sell the receiver for 50€ and it's the same price. But you get LEDs, hinges and probably better quality all around
@TheRCAviatorАй бұрын
$250 without the receiver and $270 with the AR631. So, for $20 more, you get the $85 receiver which has AS3X+ and SAFE, if you want to enable it.
@TheRCAviatorАй бұрын
@@JMan-m6q The AR631 isn't cheap, but the AS3X+/SAFE gyro is better than any of the others. It'll come pre-programmed for the plane, but you can do a factory reset and program it your way. Lately, they do allow you to change some of the settings without doing a factory reset.

If only it was a wood model. Another Eflight foamy.
@HorizonHobbyProductsАй бұрын
We have an all-new wood model releasing very soon ;)
@johnd9357Ай бұрын
If it was wood everyone would be complaining that it’s too much and that they should have made it foam so it’s affordable. Can’t please people.
@Mark-qy6mm7 күн бұрын
True about wood an if you slam into the ground or even lightly into ground with a wood version you'll be crying an crying an replacing the whole plane or half? Foam most of time can be easy for most to repair an quick an some foam glue maybe a bit of hot steam an back flying the next day or at the field for price of a little glue, right? Yes right, an not to mention more dollar for a wood bird , right? Yes right I knew yald agree. Can't get those sexy lines with wood so easy as foam molding, right? Yes I'm right an glad yal agree!!
@xtraflyr4 күн бұрын
@ dude I don’t cry whatever I crash. It’s all part of the hobby. I have both foam and wood planes, any where from $300 - over $3000.00. Been flying since 8th grade,I’m in my late 50s now. Trust me I crashed alot.
