@@xariexis Agreed. Liking Will's rendition takes nothing away from Vessel or how amazing he is, generally or specifically with this song. Few and far in between are the songs where a covering artist essentially takes (or is usually given/passed on with original artist's blessing) a cover for their own. Johnny Cash and Hurt is always the first example that comes to mind and I'm sure there are others. This isn't one of those covers, in my opinion. Will did an incredible job with it but it's still Sleep Token's song, so to speak. That shouldn't take anything away from being able to appreciate and like either/both versions of the song. Two cents to consider for those who are still in competition mentality with this sort of thing. It isn't doing Sleep Token/Vessel a disservice or disrespecting them for Will's version to be out there and liked by people. If anything, it's the opposite as it gives praise and appreciation to Sleep Token for having written the song in the first place. We wouldn't have this cover without them having written such an amazing piece in the first place.

Will is amazing and did an incredible job. However, there is just something about Sleep Token/Vessel that is the epitome of when you FEEL music. I wouldn't recommend like 95% of sleep Token songs unless you wanna cry 😅 but if you do, I'd suggest: Bloodsport (from the room below) High water Higher The way that you were Distraction Atlantic Missing limbs The love you want Jaws For starters. Not to be like that, but I think that this song was kinda boring to cover😅, I find he could’ve picked one that had more variations and not the same melodies again and again. BUT! He did it very good!
