Hi Jagan, this is not a covered call strategy, this is a Long calendar spread. In your earlier videos, you told me to put calendar spread and to avoid long calendar spread as this will give huge loss and be hard to adjust and the profit is very less. Could you let us know why are you suggesting this long calendar spread as covered call now?

Hi Jagan, this is not a covered call strategy, this is a Long calendar spread. In your earlier videos, you told me to put calendar spread and to avoid long calendar spread as this will give huge loss and be hard to adjust and the profit is very less. India vix to be considered? Right now nifty at 23000 Assume, I sold 24000ce June month and bought 22000ce July month.. Now if market goes up, July month ce will give me returns and I can manage the situation.. If market remains flat, then also no issues.. If market crashes 20%, sold ce will go to 0 and bought ce also might go to 50% loss.. In this case how to adjust? Also assume June month expiry is over, should I cover the bought July ce and reopen another set?

Doing covered call with invested stocks or Index is fine but why should one do with a future instead he can sell naked ATM Put writing, probably cash rich put writing makes more sense as at least government taxes are lesser there

Sir, சார்ட் Technically buy சொல்லும்போது, buyersஐ விட sellers அதிகமாக இருக்கிறார்கள் எனில் அத்தகைய tradeகளில் சில சமயங்களில் buy வெற்றியாகிறது....சில சமயங்களில் buy தோல்வியாகிறது... So, buyers & sellers எண்ணிக்கையை கணக்கில் கொள்ள வேண்டுமா...? Plz, explain ....

I am seeing all the KZbin videos posted by Jegan In Big Boy Covered call strategy, if the option closes in the money and I do physical delivery of my stock,what will happen to the profit I get Do I have to pay capital gains tax? what will happen If I do not take the money out of my trading account and if I use the amount for cash-secured put still subject to capital gains tax? ,
