e/m by Thomson Method Experiment, em ratio of electron, em ratio experiment, we determine the specific charge value e/m ratio by the Thomson method. Cathode ray tube is the main component of this experiment. As you know cathode ray tube has three components first is electron gun second is deflector plates for horizontal and vertical deflection and the third part is a fluorescent screen.
The electron gun comprises a filament. Which on heating provide thermal energy to the cathode. As a result, electron emits from the cathode surface. Which further moves towards the anode, the potential difference between the cathode and anode decide the kinetic energy.
The deflecting plates are connected with the positive terminal horizontally and vertically. So providing the potential to these plates one can deflect the beam in any direction. In Thomson method there are two process to determine the charge to mass value of the electron. In one case we use the two uniform circular coils while in second one the two bar magnets.

Dr Sushil Kumar Guruji sir actually I am doing same as suggested by you but my result differs by 40 times by actual value . One thing is there that the value of d,l,L may be incorrect . Thease values are provided by manufacturer

Electron have dual nature wave nature and particle nature...that exist inside the atom. You may be aware that size of the atom is of the order of 10^(-10)meter, one Angstrom. If you are not kidding, its really difficult to see the single atom. You are interested to see the electon means you are saying that you are interested to see the atom. This is not possible but yes through sophisticated experiments you can observe some phenomena that explain only on the basis of electron's particle nature like photo electric effect, compton scatering, etc. While for the wave nature optics experiments like interference, diffract and polarization are best examples.
