Wait...is position 2 of the major pentatonic the 2nd position of the minor? Sorry I'm a newb but just saw this. The box I mean, just the root is in a different spot. That's useful.

The positions are the same in E major and C# minor. But the order changes. Considering that each shape starts from the main note, we have in E major: E - F# - G# - B - C# and in C#m: C# - E - F# - G# - B that is, the second shape of E Major is the third of C#m.
