We sang this song as a group of LomiLomi Massage Therapy students. Hubby and I went to O’ahu and the Big Island for our 25th wedding anniversary/honeymoon back in 2017 and were looking to move there in 2021 or 2022. He died from complications of having had 2 COVID-19 related strokes in Dec 2021. Your song had many pictures from sites we had visited in 1994 and 2017. It is a beautiful tribute to the spirit and beauty of the Hawaiian islands and its people. I am still planning on moving there.

I am going to be leading this dance on zoom, and I am wishing I could sing the melody of the earth and sky part the way you did because I really like it. It feels very strong, solid, like the commitment to taking care of Earth. But I think changing the melody would be confusing for people who already know the song, especially on zoom, where we have to mute everyone except the song/dance leader.
