What a good concluding statement from Prince JJuko from which he has hatched a flamboyant solution to the issue at hand rather than just criticizing and leaving. Thank you Ndugu and Daniel. It is only fools who will water down Jjuko's proposal of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Disclaimer! I am not a Lawyer but just a public policy specialist. Additionally, since I started following this story of Balaaba Tamale, he seemed to be in agreement with having this matter settled through out of Court Modality, and today Jjuko has alluded to the same interest (Out of Court Modality / Alternative Dispute Resolution also referred to as ADR). Since those who were entrusted with the authority of guiding the King failed in their mandates, let The Investigator TV mediate this. Greetings from Cambridge, UK Kind regards.

Well, I have followed this debate for sometime I have always noted the tone of the Investigator set and I have always read the viewers responses. Many thanks to Ugandans of all walks who have put up a spirited fight against the unfairness and disrespect with which the person of the Kabaka has been subjected to. I sincerely praise God that finally, these good learnt friends have decided to take the people's position - to work on making it possible for Balaba Tamale to meet Kabaka Mutebi for an amicable and informed solution (though already great harm has been done,). Viewers have always suggested the alternative dispute resolution. We thank God that at long last it will be done. Let's hope that in the many upcoming issues of this nature, the Investigator team will exercise some "obuntubulamu n'okuwa abantu ekitiibwa ekibagwaanira". I am praying that the Lord guides the Investigators to correct the damage done to the Kabaka's reputation on one hand, and the confusion they have instilled among their viewers. We hope , in the future, to see the objectivity and impartiality as they started with. For God and my country.

@@mikesebastian825 Do you know anything about Kenneth Lay and Jeff Skilling? Please allow me share it with you.The sudden collapse of Enron, culminating in what was then the largest bankruptcy filing in U.S. history on Dec. 2, 2001, changed thousands of lives, damaged investor confidence to the core and made household names out of previously obscure businesspeople. Many were dragged in front of congressional committees and berated in seemingly endless hearings. Some were later indicted, arrested and paraded in front of cameras in handcuffs as part of a national catharsis. Twenty years later, the last of the Enron defendants have completed their prison sentences, paid their restitution and have sought to move on with their lives. Enron’s founder and chairman, Kenneth Lay, did not survive the scandal. Not long before Enron’s collapse, he was riding high - a local hero in Houston who had been rumored to be in line for a post in the new George W. Bush administration. Lay had deep ties to the Bush family, nicknamed by the second President Bush as “Kenny Boy.” Convicted on 10 felony counts in 2006 - a verdict that he said at the time left him “shocked” - Lay died of a heart attack six weeks later while awaiting sentencing. Because he never had the chance to appeal the verdict, his convictions were vacated by the court. “The model was simple, hire the smartest people you could find, give them capital and manage the back office for them so they could build new markets,” Former CEO Jeffrey Skilling, the one-time McKinsey consultant who developed Enron’s “asset-light” business model focusing on market-making businesses like natural gas trading instead of traditional pipelines.His sudden resignation after just six months as CEO in 2001 triggered some of the first suspicions about problems at Enron. Skilling, who declined to comment for this story, served the longest sentence of any Enron defendant, convicted alongside Lay on 19 counts including fraud, conspiracy and insider trading. He has consistently maintained his innocence, but he dropped his remaining appeals in 2013 as part of an agreement with the Justice Department that led to his early release from prison. He was originally sentenced to 24 years, but a federal appeals court ruled the sentence was excessive and sent the case back to the trial judge for resentencing. In 2013, Skilling and the DOJ agreed to jointly recommend a 14-year sentence in exchange for Skilling dropping his remaining appeals. With good behavior, that meant Skilling was released after approximately 12 years. The people I am talking about run the world. They run the global economy and just like you they thought that they could do anaything and walk away with it. The above things we have seen and we know they happen because we are exposed. We are trying to avoid such manace happening to the Buganda Kingdom corporate for it can happen and its just a matter of time, its most likely to happen because I can see all the ENRON characteristics in the CHARLES PETER MAYIGA ADMINISTRATION

The Kakamega crew think that its impossible to have a CEO held accountable. I will share the story below with them. A tech start-up CEO once considered a preeminent American entrepreneur has been arrested and charged with fraud for allegedly lying to J.P. Morgan Chase, the Department of Justice said Tuesday.Charlie Javice, previously featured as a Forbes magazine "30 Under 30" honoree, was arrested Monday night in New Jersey for lying about the number of customers her company serviced with its student loan assistance program, according to DOJ. "She lied directly to JPMC and fabricated data to support those lies -- all in order to make over $45 million from the sale of her company," U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a statement. "This arrest should warn entrepreneurs who lie to advance their businesses that their lies will catch up to them, and this Office will hold them accountable for putting their greed above the law."A spokesperson for Javice said she denies the allegations and her lawyer declined to comment. The company, Frank, had been billed as a way to simplify the student loan application process. Javice is accused of fabricating data to make it appear as though the platform had millions more users in order to sell the company for $175 million.She is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, one count of wire fraud affecting a financial institution and one count of bank fraud, each of which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. She also faces one count of securities fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Javice enlisted the help of a data scientist to create a fake database that was used to convince JP Morgan Chase the platform had more than 4.25 million users, according to charging documents. The tech CEO also allegedly purchased real data on 4.25 million college students that she tried to pass off as her user data.Javice made an initial appearance in court on Tuesday, and she was released on a $2 million bond that restricts her to certain parts of New York and southern Florida. ABC News' Luke Barr and Lisa Sivertson contributed to this report. Many of the Ugandans are sleeping but after Buganda Land Board v Wampamba (Misc. Cause No. 622 of 2013) [2014] UGHCLD 91 (20 February 2014). there will be alot of accounting for Charles Peter Mayiga and his cronies to do including this case in which the Kabaka of Buganda,Ronald Muwenda Mutebi almost got implicated. These people are not serious because all they have done exhibits corporate governance failure.One of the key reasons for governance failure is a lack of proper oversight and accountability mechanisms.When a company deviates from its corporate governance strategy it sends a signal to its shareholders that it cannot be trusted. This erodes any confidence that the shareholders had in the business and leads them to feel cheated or misled. Concept of corporate governance is most important for today business. Corporate governance refers to the rules, procedures, and administration of the firm's contracts with its shareholders, creditors, employees, suppliers, customers, and government. Governance is legally vested in a board of directors who have a fiduciary duty to serve the interests of the corporation rather than their own interests or those of the firm's management. Even though interest in corporate governance has grown rapidlyin recent years with the global increase in the number of corporate failures such as Enron, WorldCom,HealthSouth and Arthur Anderson; the role of corporate governance in corporate failure has been largely neglected. A study of above failed companies indicated that there was a lack of consistence policies, control procedures, guidelines and mechanisms to ensure accountability and fiduciary duty. Poor corporate governance can increase the probability of corporate failure even for firms with good financial performances. Such things like this we are seeing in this program indicate that the management of the Buganda Kingdom is incompetent and the ship is sinking. The earlier we wake up and act legally the better. One of the primary causes of corporate governance failures is the lack of transparency and accountability within organizations. When key information is withheld from shareholders and stakeholders, it becomes difficult for them to make informed decisions about their investments. This lack of transparency can lead to unethical practices, such as fraud or misrepresentation of financial statements. Another common cause of corporate governance failures is the presence of a weak board of directors. Boards play a crucial role in overseeing the management of the company and ensuring that it acts in the best interests of its shareholders. However, when boards lack independence, expertise, or diversity, they may fail to provide effective oversight. This can result in poor decision-making, conflicts of interest, and a lack of checks and balances.We are seeing this in the Buganda Kingdom and this has been a bare light example.

@judithmatovu6493 5 ай бұрын
It's the same plot(s). RICOTE LTD had made some mistakes in getting it. NILE Bank, on it's part, made mistakes in mortgaging the same land. Mengo officials, who are supposed to act on behalf of Kabaka Mutebi, because of their bad intentions also "dubiously acquired the said pieces of land and made the Kabaka of Buganda believe that everything was alright"! Now come the good, learned friends who start by showing us how the Mengo mafias have been responsible for most of the land wrangles in Buganda; but, in a strange twist of their "tongues or understanding ", they end up piling the whole garbage on the Kabaka of Buganda (whom we all know doesn't do anything personally!). However, let's painfully continue listening, time will prove their intentions. You never know. Uganda is a strange country. These people might be trying to divert the minds of Baganda and other Ugandans from other important issues; by making such incessant fierce attacks on the person of Kabaka Mutebi.

It is true, Ricote's plot is different from Tamale's but they are adjacent to each other. The Mengo officials are using formerly Ricote's land on Plot 2 to gain ownership of Plot 1 which belongs to Tamale. Thereafter, they have these two plots Ricote's on plot 2 and Tamale's on plot 1 merged together to form one single plot of land. What will merging these two plots mean? 1) Both plots one and Two will seize to exist. 2) One single tile will be registered containing the two plots as a single asset 3) All records and files of Plot One and Plot Two will be non-existent / will die a natural 4) A new MRF- white page will be created. 5) The new owner of the merged plot will be registered as the first owner. Tamale and Recote' will not exist. That is my simple analysis of the situation

i do not think that the Buganda Kingdom has the capacity to take some of us on legally with the kind of information that we have that is legally substantiated with trite forensic evidence thats both substantive and formal.We do deep dive research and tell it to the public in the simplest form that you do need to be a lawyer to know that there is a problem. Some of these one hour skits you see are summaries of over 300 pages of legal and forensic research and we are properly grounded and supported by the law.Do you realize that we substantiate facts with case law.Forensic science describes the science of associating people, places and things involved in criminal activities; these scientific disciplines assist in investigating and adjudicating criminal and civil cases. So overall we can say that forensic science has now become the one of the limb of judicial system and if you are critical of issues, this is what we do. It is now accepted that the work of comparative lawyers, whose discipline was based on finding differences, and the globalization of many legal concepts, particularly the rule of law as applicable to all governmental action and the right to a fair and open trial, have brought about a considerable narrowing of the differences. We have come a long way over the past generation in our approach to the differences between our systems. Differences do remain, but they operate by and large as differing ways of bringing about (i) checks and balances in the investigative process and (ii) differing ways of fact finding. An example of the first is the duty of disclosure in a criminal investigation. All our systems recognize that it is an essential attribute of a fair trial that the prosecutor discloses to the defence any material that he has which might help the defence or show weaknesses in the prosecution case. In this jurisdiction, this basic duty has developed into a very far reaching obligation on the part of the prosecutor and on the part of experts deployed by the prosecution. We interpret the obligation as extending to all relevant material and have quite a wide concept of relevance. So with the above back ground in what we do, we are sure we provide the people with realistic evidence that you cannot throw away, this explains why we dont face pressure from Mengo because they know whatever we do is real and hyper.

The prime purpose of the audit is to form an opinion on the information in the financial report taken as a whole, and not to identify all possible irregularities. Providing comfort over the accuracy of management accounts, or revealing systematic errors occurring throughout the year, a year end audit is critical to decision making for an organisation placing reliance on management information. The process through which an audit is undertaken challenges the robustness of the internal controls and processes an organisation has in place, giving an external perspective and valuable feedback.Many business are run by a small board of directors on behalf of the shareholders who can be remote and have little involvement in the day to day operations. An independent review of the financial statements can provide transparency to the shareholders that the company is being run within their best interests and can highlight any issues that have occurred which may not have been brought to their attention. Simply put, we exercise an independent activity designed to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of Buganda Kingdom’s internal controls, risk management and governance. It is typically preemptive in nature and aims to uncover any discrepancies between operational processes and their intended purpose. Upon completion of the investigation we provide a detailed report with substantive evidence to management, outlining the findings alongside any recommendations and this is done with utmost good faith. By including activities that affect businesses from top to bottom, our investigations go beyond Buganda Kingdom’s internal processes: they’re concerned about the overall well being and success of our organization. By doing this we are able to ably inform you the facts that have been hidden away from you so that you can advise on best practice like you doing now. I guess there is nothing wrong about saying the truth and its not defamatory per se. We really appriciate your contribution and question and humbly pray that you ask more if you have any

@@judithmatovu6493 While corporate governance is present and vital for many companies around the world, it’s important to understand its significance, while recognising any consequences that may be imposed on a company as a result of poor corporate governance. Essentially, corporate governance refers to a system of rules, practices and processes through which a company is directed and controlled, while identifying who has power and decision-making capabilities, as well as recognising who also holds accountability within the company. Through the operations of corporate governance, managements and boards of directors can effectively deal with the challenges of running a business, along with ensuring that their company has the relevant decision-making processes and controls in place to balance the interests of all its stakeholders, which include employees, suppliers, customers and the community. Ultimately, corporate governance aims to establish the most effective processes and controls that will enable the company to achieve its objectives as well as ensuring that stakeholders are comfortable and confident that their trust in a company is well founded. So, it’s no surprise why such importance is placed in establishing strong and clear corporate governance. That said, what could the consequences of poor corporate governance be? Thats what we need to sort in Buganda. Charles Peter Mayiga and his cronies are a mistake and I think with evidence you are beginning to see it
