Varun Kurup i read somewhere that it had to do with SSC not being transparent with his accounts. At that time, Ajith was taking his remuneration in the form of a small fee plus a percentage of profits, like what actors in the West n even in Bombay are doing. Because of SSC’s dishonesty, Ajith was not getting a fair share of the profits. It was after this bad experience that Ajith decided he would no longer work with SSC n that he would just go for a high fee with no share in the profits since he couldn’t trust producers to be open with their accounts n to give him the agreed percentage of profits.
