“This is not a game. ‘Game’ is just what we call it after the final whistle blows. This IS actually the greatest modern-day demonstration of dominance known to mankind and is exceeded only by socio-political war itself. The word demonstration comes from the Latin word, ‘demonstrum,’ which means ‘to prove,’ and ‘reveal a wonder.’ ‘Monstrum,’ is the core-essence of demonstrum and from it the word, ‘monster’ is derived. Today you are the ‘monsters’ of that field with something to prove and wonders to show: Today is the demonstration of your dominance. In mere minutes two teams of special operators will walk out into this arena. One team, ‘a spear,’ that pierces all shields (‘the unstoppable force’). The other team, ‘a shield,’ that blunts every spear (‘the immovable object’). This ‘spear and shield’ legend originates with the ancient Chinese philosopher, ‘Han Fei Zi,’ written between 280 and 233 B.C. You are the unstoppable force. They are the immovable object. The wonder you will prove as the monsters of the field is that an unstoppable force (you) cannot be diminished or divided, and that while an immovable object as a whole may not be movable, an immovable object can be broken into pieces by an unstoppable force, and those pieces can be moved. That is why the shield is not called 'an unbreakable object.' It is quite breakable, and monsters break objects into pieces. It’s what they do. Today, you will break your opponent into pieces. Yes, you will execute your might and monstrosity upon them honorably, within the rules of the game, and by so doing you shall reveal to all who watch a wonder of astonishing magnitude…pure superiority. It is said that ‘practice makes perfect.’ However, we know that only ‘perfect practice makes perfect.’ Today you will prove your superiority gained through many years of perfect practice. That field is your dominion, and you are its kings. Therefore, it is a king’s dominion; it is your kingdom, and you shall cause your opponent to become your subjects by imposing your dominance upon them. Piece by piece you will break down the immovable object and cause it to yield and succumb. Today you will establish the cornerstone of your personal and family legacy for generations to come. These opportunities are rare. ‘The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood and who dares greatly.’ The time is here for you, the monsters, to prove and demonstrate your dominance upon the ‘object.’ Piece by piece you will break it down, until it yields, and you sweep it out of your way.
