Exactly the original Bad Valentine is the commercial, radio-ready version for the younger crowd & the jazzy version is to stun & melt you. Original for bopping your head in the car while driving, jazzy version is for noise cancelling, over-ear headphone listening, with your eyes closed. Just sayin'!!! For Bad Valentine, it’s not just a change in key between the two versions. The vibe, the emotion is totally different this time. In the first version, it’s Angelina giving us sass and attitude: I warned you, it’s not my fault. For the recent version, it’s a more nostalgic view of a relationship that’s over: more sentiment, less blame. They’re two different songs with the same lyrics. Thanks for those views and interviews, but you can’t show Angelina on stage ready to sing Bang, Bang (at 8 on NGT) and then not play that clip. It’s spectacular. The choice of Bang, Bang for that moment is completely out of left field, but it’s also the moment when we understand that this child isn’t following anyone. She kills this song with her own arrangement that captures the essence of the lyrics better than the Nancy Sinatra or Cher version. It’s AJ truly making a song her own-maybe for the first time.

I have to agree when Angelina was very young. she was very shy but very forthcoming with her comments. So sincere and childlike but so wonderful in thoughts of what she's trying to say. As she got older she got more comfortable with her interviews ! . You can understand that as she is becoming a young adult, she is able to convey more eloquently what she wants to tell the interviewer and the audience. I'm glad you got to react. "It's a Matter man's world' at 12 years old. This is an absolute bomb and Angelina is center stage always when she's in a live performance. So fearless, confident and poised on stage. It's crazy to witness. I like both versions like you said, the cafe version and the jazzy piano version of "Bad Valentine." They're both excellent but the latter one really is true. Angelina ! This original video of "How Great Thou Art" was only posted for a couple days and then taken down (presumably by Angelina). i always figured it was because she wasn't satisfied with it; it does seem to take her voice to it's low range limits. It survived on KZbin because a super-fan had downloaded it and reposted with their own footage. Apparently, someone else managed to get hold of this original and reposted it within the last year.
