Great effort on the tet Beanster. That looked tricky... Could try Formula one, or budget ibis, make sure it is the budget one, or Air b n b.fir a cheap night. We use them all at about 40€ a night if you want a cheap room. Air b and b is an eye opener. A whole apartment for 40. The cheap hotels have showers and canteen type breakfast but are warm and dry. Really enjoying this series. Great to see ride the bean on the road! We salute your winter camping! Obviously Norwegians are made of stern stuff! Happy travels 👍

Yeah if I know where I will stay I usually book those, but it’s not always that easy at the last minute. This is not winter camping 😂 there is no snow 😝 Winter camping to me is -15 in deep snow with a fire going 😛

Like the TET Netherland is famous for the sand the east and north French TET is famous for mud 😁😁 Europe has a problem with campgrounds after August to May. Most if not 99% are closed. But everywhere f+++g places for the vans and in France lot of for free. And as I like France , the price for a room is often very (too) high compared to the conditions of them.
@RidetheBean2 жыл бұрын
Hehe yeah I figured that out this day 😂
@virginiel54702 жыл бұрын
The price is such a robbery, I doubt they ever rented this place for such a price.. you can find cheaper options here in Switzerland 😥 Good luck for the rest of your trip and don’t hesitate to bargain a high price in France, they wouldn’t be offended. Ask if it’s possible to have it for cheaper or give them the price you’re ready to pay...

Great episode Kenneth. Enjoyed the pace the music selection and the scenery. Glad the fall wasn’t too bad and you were able to get back on the road. 95 Euro did seem a bit steep, but I know the feeling. What an awesome ride. Man I am wondering about all the history you are riding through when in the back country. Mostly the history we don't know of like, who may have camped there in the medieval times to the present. Man I would be a nervous wreck riding through farm land like that, not for certain that I was on the right route. Great job navigating through that stuff. Heck i was even getting nervous when the road just disappeared under the leaves.
