Thanks Randy, fantastic video a whole run showing all the cuts in 28 minutes. after watching your tasting video I'm glad I checked the mash and this one out. You obviously have your process down pat and your videos are this is what I do how I do it and why, no fuss. Well done.

I absolutely loved it! I'm too chinchy though. I would have pulled the parrot, poured out the good stuff and caught the tails in small jars. BUT you're the man and I absolutely loved it!!

Randy!! Just love this recipe!! Can’t wait to try it-ok-have a real stupid question-or two-did you roast 10lb. fresh corn or did you roast enough fresh corn to yield 10lb? Or-did you take dried corn and roast it? I’m new to distilling and mashing (even tho I’ve made a lot of beer-this is SO interesting-and am just curious-many Thanks and Happy New Year!!

great question i use 10 # of dried yellow dent corn what you get from feed store then roast it I found when you roast it it kinda gets a pop corn taste so good Happy New Year Karl

What if you start at say 60- 65 abv. Will tails show at a lower proof or always around 50%? Thanks again Randy

What’s the temperature of the distillate coming out of the still Randy?

What proof do you collect down too? I've seen a bunch of info but I always feel like I'm stopping too soon

Great video, Randy! You repeated a segment several times in the edit starting about 15 minutes in. Did you use un-malted wheat? And 1 copper roll or 2? There were two sections of packing on the table but I only saw you put one roll in the column. Where did you get your grain milk? Cheers!

i do my tails in a very scientific way. I'll take a spoon and dip it in the jar and light it. when the spoon doesn't light any more a quit collecting. yes I have a alcometer but this just puts some fun in distilling. I also so proofed with black powder. lost my eye brows...lol

Interesting that you stopped collecting at 90 proof or maybe you didn’t but seemed that way with the video presented, Seems like ya leave a lot of alcohol in those tails to use in another project

I love your video, but the smacking after a taste is just nasty 🤢
