E14 CREO Parametric 2.0 Basic Mold

Exercise 14 - A continuation of Exercise 13. In this exercise we look at how the cavity of a blow mold of a bottle can be constructed inside Creo 2.0 Parametric without the use of the specialized Creo mold package. See E15 Pro Engineer for the lesson that introduces the ProMold module.

I haven't tried it, but theoretically I believe it should as it's parametric. I'll have to try it soon and see what happens, I'll report back on here when I get a chance to try it. Thanks for the kind words.

If you cannot find the component operation "Cut out", it can be in "Boolean Operation" then "Cut".

Hi Hieu, E15 uses Creo Parametrics Mold design add-in. Not many users have the add-in module. I haven't made an updated E15 for Creo. However I do have a video for E15 using ProE Wildfire. The Pro mold module hasn't changed. Just search for E15 Wildfire and you should find it.

I just tried it and received some error messages the first time. I restarted and tried it again, and it worked when I used the regeneration manager (under the regenerate icon) after modifying the E13 bottle.

Thanks for the video, but I have a question. For your inserts, since you are referencing their sketches from another part's surface, wouldn't you create a circular reference? If those surfaces are modified, will it not modify your parts?

thanks for the tutorial. Will this work if you modify the form of the bottle? I.e. will the cavity cut-outs update?
