It was Indira Gandhi's son who declared Emergency but it was Jawaharlal Nehru's daughter who ended it! Couldn't have put it any better!

What I really liked about this conversation is how jaimit sir counter with curiosity and ask very sensible question. And Rajesh sir's "Essentially what you are saying if following:" (explained everything in nutshell). And finally the points, sequence (history) explained by shah sir. Absolutely fantastic.

Illuminating talk. Especially loved the SEEPZ insight and the key takeaways - the govt should stick to regulating / improving a few things, and get out of the way to let people / companies figure out whether its manufacturing or services or whatever they want to do to thrive. The rest will follow.

41:30 Companies are actually initiated projects where manpower can be reduced yes reduced. Companies offer very handsome rewards who reduce the manpower requirements. I have experienced huge job cuts due to these ideas that enforces 70 hours work weeks without giving recognition or money in return. Companies are actually created framework where they can exploit employees just like Britishers did. And government is busy in making breads for itself by offering freebies even ruling parties are terrified for power. Enjoy these are few years of peace next will be angry equipped young crowd who will not do any good but definitely make India equivalent to any poor African country.
