So so grateful for a place called Sandals. So often times we focus on the heart. I so appreciate Pastor Matt and the rest of the Pastors at Sandals, know that often times its an 18 challenge from heart to mental health. 13 years ago Pastor Andrew met me at my darkest hour to set me up with a meeting with Dr McNabb which with Christ help changed the rest of my life. God gives wisdom, strength and has power over all dominion is anything hard for him? My mental strength came back to me when i was alone and saw the lord does as pleases. Therapy is not always needed. God alones gives life and he gave me mind. So I brag about God but I’m not to say that I did anything to deserve it.

Loved this episode (new listener here). There are large gaps in your knowledge about narcissism and your advice to the woman was really shocking to me. It might be good to understand the cycle of abuse you just advised her to go back into as well as understand hoovering and gaslighting. If she is feeling this way, she is in an emotionally, mentally abusive relationship and I think a deeper triage would have been helpful for her.

I was raised Christian and when I got older i realized their so many different beliefs which brought pain . When I have lots of faith my own in the faith make feel dumb for having so too much faith but always hear Jesus say you of little faith that taking break from the church and thinking for myself and not believing the opinions of others because after constantly hearing them you believe them also the sympathy is so belittling. Oh don’t say that he might be sad sensitive or might get mad. I gotten better in solitude and let the word speak for it self.

Hey @matthewstephenbrown thanks for this episode... as you know I've had issues with hurt pain and specifically issues that happened to me at Sandals... wish you and I could do a podcast about ministry and being on ministry for christ. How leaders should take responsibility lead towards restoration and integrate hurt and pain as part of the process to understanidng God's provision protection and promises..... love you brother hit me up.....Shane Anderson
