Le CDI part plus vite, plus de couple grâce au turbo principalement, mais la 280 essence à partir de 210 kmh devient plus performante... En tout cas ce sont de bonnes voitures avec des bons moteur Cordialement

not true. The cdi is chiped and 30 hp more. The serial cdi should be easy destroyed by the e280 benzin. And over 200 has the cdi nothing vs the benzin. 210 + the cdi should be the looser. And what is important on a long trip, travel? The Speed. The e280 benzin takes easy longtime over 220 without problems. Also acclerating to the hot summer time. What about the cdi? Longtime highspeed damages it. Accleration in hot weather? Fails. And fuel consum different about 2 l by the same driving style.

And about cost? cdi : turbo, oilcooling, injection.... and what about the sound? why you don t take a video e350 (306 hp) vs e350 cdi (265 hp)? 3.0 vs 3.0 And the end of that video are only 10 km/ h between the e280 and 280 cdi 🤣🤣🤣 30 hp more and only half car faster 😂😂😂

3400 rpm at 200 kmh for diesel engine vs 5400 rpm at 200 kmh for petrol engine. Imagine if you drove at this speed up to 100000 km. The petrol engine would make 60 milions rpm more than the diesel engine
