Hey Jay! I need a clarification. In question no.5, I guess the question itself is wrong. Because the text says cervical collar must be used except in patients with NO intoxication, which means cervical collar must be used in patients with intoxication. Correct me if I am wrong. Btw, your videos are very helpful. Thank you!

I think you're right. The passage says in order not to use a collar, not only the patient mustn't be intoxicated but also he doesn't have pain, neurological symptoms, injury, etc. The question is somewhat very general and a bad one.

You're right, and furthermore, it's saying that you don't need to place a cervical collar, if the patient meets all of the following criteria. If the patient is intoxicated, it literally breaks that criteria, so a cervical collar MUST be used. The question and explanation was wrong in that case. The question should have read; When treating an Intoxicated patient, ____ must always be used. And the answer would have been a cervical collar.
