As far as Sonic Forces goes, I myself am actually very excited for Sonic Forces. I totally understand your concerns, though. The lack of information is frustrating, and I'm not a fan of Pontac and Graff's writing. But I do like to remain optimistic when it comes to Sonic. And the character creation I'm especially excited for. I understand there's that stigma of "deviantart edgy OC do not steal", but I actually made a Sonic fan character when I was younger, but disregarded it as "cringey", mostly because of that internet stigma. but now, SEGA and Sonic Team have gone and made it an official implementation. Idk, that just seems really cool to me. I have my concerns with the game as well. The linear/flat level design has me worried, and I really don't like how they brought back the Whisps as the boost fillers. And there's that possible writing issue. But still, we've barely seen any of this game. They could surprise us, and the game could be one of the best in years. Or, all of our concerns are present throughout the game, and it sucks. It's really up in the air, but I'd like to believe the former will happen.

Yeah, I'm not too sure. I completely forgot about the fact that Wisps are back this time, that annoys me as well. I like to remain optimistic but this game has been sending me bad signals since the reveal last July. I certainly hope it turns out well, but knowing Sonic Team, I'm extremely concerned. Thank God for Sonic Mania!
