Thanks for watching! I just wanted to give a quick update. If you are using marlin 2.0.7.2 and as suggested there is a bug. Bugs happens but we decided to update and run the nightly bugfix of marlin and so far can confirm that the errors in the eeprom have been addressed in the nightly builds and as of posting the nightly is working great. Stay awesome everyone!

Do you happen to know what file(s) contain the specific bugfixes for this?

Thank you so much for your detailed videos! Most other videos just gloss over the nitty gritty but you get right into it and show exactly what needs to be done, how to do it, and how it's working like that in the first place. Brilliant!

Great video, quick question is there a way to use the onboard thermistor with the auto fan as u have done but not with the chamber . I plan to use the chamber im building with a different thermistor, so essentially we would see 4 sets of temperatures on the display. Ps the 3 temps in ur vid show up on the marlin screen but not the touchscreen

What's the program you use to edit the Marlin software?

I followed your instructions using the former video and this one about setting the controller fan to turn on and off using the thermistor that is on-board. but it did not work. As I turn on the printer it turns on for 2 seconds and then stops which seemed ok, but when the the board's temperature started to rise above 30 it did not start to work. Are you sure this feature is working? can you share your config files so I can do a file-compare and see maybe I've overlooked something (although I went over and over again on two of these videos without luck)

Also regarding the EEPROM size, this EEPROM has 32Kbits, which is actually 4KBytes. Maybe the notation in Marlin is in KBytes.

I have upgraded my mainboard to BigTreeTech SKR E3 Turbo on my CR-10. I also made these modifications above. However, after flashing and startup, after I do an Auto home, the LCD display fritz out and is gibberish. It never did this before. Any thoughts on how to fix this or what I should look for?

Have an weird issue with motherboard fan configured like this when after reaching defined temperature (30 degrees) it will turn on for 2-3 seconds, then off for 2-3 seconds and will repeat that indefinitely. Any way to let it cool motherboard let's say 5 degrees before turning (Hysteresis)?

Hi there and thx for your Videos. Maybe i´m missing something, but the chamber Fan is just getting some very short pulses and does not run even if the temp. is highly exceeded.... have you checked if your Fan is really running?

Hi yes its really running. You may want to try the nightly build of marlin if your experience and issue

@@3DMakeIt Thank you very much for your reply - ive tried the bugfix yesterday but no success. Have you changed anything else for the Chamber Heating configuration? I would love, if you could provide your config files somehow? I´m really frustated cause this is really a brilliant way to use this feature

If you email info@3dmakeit.ca we can work something out for sure. As we mentioned in this video using the board thermistor for the chamber thermistor allows us to attach the auto fan for the controller to that chamber pin.

Mine won’t save any settings, such as e-steps, even when I hit save settings. After a power cycle it is gone. If I update the firmware with the new settings it keeps it. But that’s not going to work with my knock off bl touch
