Glad you like it, it’s definitely a cool truck. The turning is really quite good on it if anything a little to good for it as if you push it it rolls over a bit

Very cool Van indeed Andy! Didn't Know Team Ast'd even Come out with this recently! I noticed this getting all squirrely in reverse. I can't remember if the lunchbox does this too as I've only driven mine once seeing it was made built and given to me by the Rc Elf. this does look pretty good though. I really like those deep Dish wheels. I'd say like a few already have, that a comparison is order! next time at the skate park, if you think of it, Maybe bring a "Grabber" stick for those "hard to reach" situations!😜👍 Thanks for helping deliver info and video of this really neat little toaster!

Wow nice looking Van. Smaller and slightly more expensive than the Arrma Gorgon. If it's half a tough as the MT10 than I would say it's a winner. Great job on the video. It's survived a skate park so it must be tough. I wonder how much a replacement body will be? Ok $49 so that's not bad and there are already plenty of upgrades coming out so IMHO it's a great buy.

Hi Dom hope your well. They are good fun I’ve liked both of the MT12s so far. The Vans body will probably hold up better but the red truck has the classic MT looks. Skate park definitely gives you more of a work out especially if you can’t drive on it 😜

One of those little things I hate about living in Japan: not getting so many cool brands and stuff. Plenty of cheap used Tamiyas though 😊

Yeah it’s a real shame that it’s mainly just Tamiya, kyosho and possibly yokomo. Is there generally just not the interest or is it the manufacturers that aren’t interested in selling in Japan ? Many thanks smile 😃

There are no proper distributors of western brands for whatever reasson, also Tamiya and Kyosho are huge here so everbody just buys Tamiyas and Mini-Zs... Also japanese people are too calm for crazy bashers haha. But there are lots of nitro HPI Savages in the second hand market so I guess things were different some time ago.

What a cool monster truck, Andy! And a great idea to take it to the skatepark! I only tried a skatepark bash once, it is really a lot of fun! I need to try it more next year, if the winter ever ends, he he... Yeah, Associated have some really cool stuff going on. And of course it'll be interesting to see it up against the old Lunchbox, of course this is way more modern and will handle better... And of course also the Arrma Gorgon, seems to be a popular category these days...

Hi Steve , it’s not quite as bad as a lunchie but it will topple if you push it as it steers way better than a cw01 chassis that and coupled with the high-ish cog body shell. Yeah I struggled getting that car back , I need longer arms. Funny you say about falling over as after I filmed the video I slipped and landed on my back leaving the skate park 😜

Body looks pretty nice, i need to set aside money too fix up my mini-z monster too have that up & running again, thinking a pn racing servo board v4 hooked up too the steering & the electronics out of the wltoys k989 i got sitting atm.

It’s not a bad looking body is it, I’ve only ever had the mini Z Land Rover 90 , very cool bags of scale detail on it as well.

It looks fun but does seem a bit tippy. The Lunch Box is too on a grippy surface like that as well so to be expected from a small wheelbase truck with a fairly high CG. I looks it should be a fun one to run against the lunchie and see how they compare!
