The third and final episode of the interview with Ernesto the taxi driver, we take a trip through La Chaveña neighborhood where he grew up and then venture into El Centro, the central business district. He tells of how he was once, prior to covid, recruited to set up a safe house for Chinese migrants flying into Juarez and before they would be taken across the border by coyotes. Many other stories as well as learning about markets, second hand goods, even ice deliveries to local green grocers. What a fascinating man and important city.
