Beautiful sound

Well done m8. No bullshit, just a clean vid of sound. Filmed on something better than a tracphone. I wish every vid was like this. Why is it that so many shit exhaust videos have copyright free dubstep, shitty angles, have the sound quality so shitty its like every engine sounds like a potato in a garbage disposal? Like I thought flip phones were dead but fuckers are still using them in exhaust vids in 2016.
@clutch-slayer7 жыл бұрын
mike bumbera thanks! Haha, that's one thing I hate as well. I couldn't find any videos that were halfway decent of a similar exhaust setup so I made one when I finished mine

hot damn it sounds so good

Do you have a parts list to make this sound? I love the lower pitched smooth sound.
@clutch-slayer2 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty simple. I used a driftmotion manifold, and 4 inch straight pipe from the turbo all the way to the back. Any equal-ish length manifold and 4 inch all the way back should sound similar.

@@clutch-slayer thanks. I need this for when I get an R34. I like the heavy smooth 2f2f sound.

What settings you have in the EMU to get flames between shifts? Do you inject fuel under decceleration? Mine goes straight to fuel cut when 0% TPS above 1700rpm's. I run ignition+fuel cut rev limiter though to get that AK47 sound.
@clutch-slayer6 жыл бұрын
Marko Sandelin if I remember correctly, overrun was set to cut fuel but maintain spark. I didn't get backfires with fuel cut disabled.

Ahh, I see! Have to experiment more then, and see what happens when changing small things first. Thanks man!

Marko Sandelin I can send you my map if you want, just let me know your email address.
@Marko-JZX1006 жыл бұрын
Wow, thanks! I have 1jz vvti myself so it should be pretty close match, and I can compare it to my map here and there. I run E85 so my fueling and timing is completely different and pretty much whole setup as it is pretty much built motor running Borg S363-SXE. You can send the map to: marko.sandelin1@gmail.com Thanks!

Clutch Slayer would you mind sending me your map? We have the same setup looks like and I just installed an emu classic for my 1j

Was this with the stock 1jz head, no modifications?
@clutch-slayer4 жыл бұрын
In this video it's a completely stock head. Eventually I put 2jzge cams in for a little more lift and duration

@@gangsteeer.9112 hey, it was on a standalone ecu so I'm not sure what effect it had.

Any reason for the non VVTI over VVTI? im wondering weather the JZX100 is a better choice over the JZX90 by the engines
@clutch-slayer4 жыл бұрын
I only did non-vvti because I found one local. If I was going to do it again I would go vvti.

As asked previously by someone else, what are your settings in the emu to get the pops and flames between shifts? Possible you could email me?
