'....and it exposes DEEZ NUTS.' I giggled. Nice work. Trick for anyond considering this, use an ice cube to smooth the silicone on the outside, won't stick to it.

The tool I use to turn the sunroof motor with is just a hex key. This hex key is the one in the tool kit on the inside of your trunk.

Update on the delete? Any leaks? and do you have the link for the sunroof plug?

No leaks. And I don't expect to ever have any leaks. The panel is really well made and fits like a glove. I put so much roofing sealant in there I shouldn't ever have problems. Panel is made by S2Rtuning. Can also be bought on Bimmerworld. You can purchase directly from Alex, but traditionally the wait time directly from him is >2 months. If BW has it in stock I'd purchase it from them.

What roll cage is that ?
@Carpythesharky3 жыл бұрын
Made by Ben Sipson @ baysidefabrication.com. I found his rear cage design on a thread he started on Bimmerforums, and ordered it direct from him. Fits much tighter than the Kirk rear cage, and other multipiece offerings for the E36 (Sipson's is a one piece design). Ben recessed the bar that is right behind the driver's seat so I could move my seat back more, and made the top of the roll hoop higher than normal as I am planning on eventually removing my headliner. He did that free of charge. Was ~$600 shipped IIRC. It's NASA TT and potentially GTS compliant as it stands. But is the correct material, measurements, and angles to be the base of a fully welded cage that is NASA, BMWCCA, and SCCA compliant for once I start getting into NASA GTS.
