E36 Manual Window Conversion DIY

Convert your e36 power windows to manual using old bmw manual window regulators for around $100.
I would not recommend this on daily driven cars. This is more intended for track/race cars.
After having many issues with my power windows I gave up and decided I had to find a way to convert them to manual. I could not find any helpful info online so I had to just start experimenting and this is what I came up with.
I prefer using E36 sedan rear manual regulators for this but any manual bmw regulator should get the job done. You can also use brand new e36 sedan regulators but they are going to cost around $125 each
I also recommend using all new clips/guides when installing your door card and window regulators
This is not a perfect solution, it does take some modifying and the window might leak some after ( it probably already does before this though)
