If this lady has a day job as well as restoring this house and all the decorating she does AND making videos while she goes along AND editing and posting them... I will go sit in the corner in total shame. If another person tells me that I work hard, I my conscience will force me to tell them that the closest I get to really working is watching this woman work. Amazing person.

I work as an Urban Designer for the urban planning department of Helsingborg full time. But the work I did in this vlog was during my holiday (I get 6 weeks of each year). I go to bed early and go up early, get some work done before work and then I spend the weekend doing the rest. Editing gets done on Sunday afternoon 😀 but sometimes I don't have time to finish it in time for Sunday evening and then I continue on Monday 🤷♀️ also, I have volunteers sometimes and they help deal with cleaning, weeding amd easy renovation stuff 😊

Seing that your channel has grown a lot in the past few days makes me so happy for you! You are an inspiration to everybody actually, but especially for young women like me, that anything is in fact possible when you believe it and are patient! Guess you are also very talented, but your channel is teaching me skills I didn't know I need😊❤

No one is happer than me, I've been on clouds the last two weeks seeing so much love in the comments and being able to grow so much! I am particularly happy to hear you are learning things, this is also the goal of my channel, to give women more confidence to pick up some tools if that's what they want :-)

It's so amazing how you cope with making the materials, the things you use and the colours to play together in harmony. You are also very creative in finding nice and discrete soltions for mounting and reparing when needed. I really admire you for all this - and much more! With love and huge respect. Watching you working from Denmark. ♥️👌🙂🇩🇰

I am writing from East Tennessee. The Festivals i have gone to, we call Rennasiance Faires. I went to one in Texas and another in Ohio? Near Kings Island i think it was called. The costumes are amazing, the people are friendly so we really enjoyed ourselves. I am anxious to see your house finished. I bet you are too.😊 So much work you have done. What lazy helpers you have but they are very cute to entertain.us. My back would be broken. 😮 take care.

Ah I see, I think at this one they focus more on the late Viking and Middle Ages, not so much the rennaisiance 🤔 interesting 😁 no, they don't help, more like inspecting 😉 I think to finish the whole thing and the property will take 10 years, can't wait for that day to happen 😁

Admirable job! Two questions (just curious). 1 Why strip and remake, since there was no wood that needed repairing or functionality being added. 2 Is there a reason for using putty instead or acrylic?
@old_school_moaboa2 ай бұрын
Great question! Both questions have the same answer. I use linseed oil paint and putty because of many reasons, but mainly because it's breathable, the oil in the paint penetrates the wood and protects/condition it instead of creating a protective plastic layer and its natural/sustainable. These are the same products used in the past and combined with good quality wood for the windows, they lasted for centuries when properly maintained. But if they were painted with plastic I need to remove it for the linseedoil paint to be able to do it's magic. Also it looks way better when removing decades of paint 🙂

@@nancychestnut8928 i think you mean the pieces of wood i press down in the space between the window glass pane and the rebate? It's a new thing I have learnt that I should do, to stabilize the glass pane further than the nails and the putty can

Do they still teach sewing in primary school in Sweden.
@old_school_moaboa2 ай бұрын
Yes they do, and woodworking. You can choose between those two and I loved both and used to alternate between them each semester 😆 I did a vlog in the past where I talk about this Slöjd as it's called when I did a course at Nääs castle and learned how to build wooden, bespoke and historically correct kitchens. The course was held in the same woodworking shop as they used over 100 years ago when teachers learned how to teach slöjd to kids. There were these amazing photos of women in large dresses working in tools in the same room unchanged just like in the photo.

0:40 - Fasen, va fiffigt! Var hittade du en sån? Eller har du gjort den själv? Har den nåt namn?
@old_school_moaboa2 ай бұрын
