Hi. thanks for the video. Do you happen to have the part numbers for the resistor repair kit? It's not showing on Realoem. Many thanks.

Oh...just realised. My car is a 2000 model and apparently they don't have these resistors. That's why it's not showing on Realoem for my chassis. But I wonder why aux fan isn't working?

Hey, I cannot tell from your video due to the shaking of the camera how you tested the open circuit or closed.... Which pins was it? And then which pins did you supply power to, to see if the fan powers up?

@visionbmw You’re absolutely correct, my skill level is low but I want to benefit from people like you who know more than I. That’s why I took time to write to you. I did not intend to criticize you, but to let you know you’ll be appreciated by going an extra mile. Those who have high skill level may not even want to look at this vid at all. But going to Mechs, they’ll charge me arm and leg.

@kirundo1 I suggest you have a shop repair yours. Your skill level may not be sufficient if this video doesn't help you repair it.

be great if you edit lose /remove the sound effects; heard a freight train, police siien, a very short piano phrase and what sounded like a budgie/parakeet ( some form of Bird life). very distracting i dont know if this could be edited out? otherwise good vid.

I was going to say it sounds like you live in California.

@kirundo1 Don't worry. I didn't take it as being criticized and no criticism to you. But as I gather your skill level, I highly suggested that you take your car to someone who can do it as not to short out your electrical system in case you do something wrong. My video shows everything you need to know in order to replace the resistors. If I need to show someone how to remove their bumper, unplug a connector and crimp a connector, then obviously they need to stay away from this DIY project.
