Great video and thanks for the knowledge. I brew microbial brews for my garden. The only bummer is chlorinated water which destroys the microbes. For me I fill container with city water and air bubble the water for a day or two before I make my brew. Releases some of the chlorine out . Anyhow microbes are a must. Love your vids they are detailed, Thanks for sharing your time.

When they start to umbrella, how long do you let them grow? Until they touch the ground? And if so what do you do to maintain? Keep cutting it and maintain a certain length?

Hey, I have some plants that are very well established but they have 2 main branches climbing up. Should I remove one of the branches despite them being strong and healthy? How important is it to have just one main branch?
@passionfruiter31842 жыл бұрын
I would say that it’s better with 2. Traditionally, you would only do 1 because leaving only 1 would speed up the vertical growth process. This is done to reach the top of the trellis as quickly as possible. If you have 2, it takes twice as long for them to reach the top, but you got double the power (2 main branches = 2 main roots in the dirt). Twice as much energy.

Thank you, as I was conducting this research and experiment. I started to notice that aerial roots eventually grow down into the soil to feed. I felt as Foliar wasn't needed when the roots already work their way to find what they need to thrive.

Awesome tips as always. I have been following along with this series and really enjoy it. Question for you - My rooted cuttings topmost section is over a foot long and very skinny, about the width of a finger. As long as it's secured to the trellis, will it eventually plump up and put off another branch? Or should I cut it off to try and stimulate new growth from the thick part below?
@anuja75643 жыл бұрын
I hv the same question Richard. Great information otherwise. 👍
@GraftingDragonFruit3 жыл бұрын
As long as it’s secured to the trellis it will eventually plump up. Once you cut the tip of the cutting they will swell up and put out new growth just like how I demonstrated in today’s video.

Richard, The directions on my recharge say 1/2 Tsp per gallon, which means 2.5 Tsp for 5 gallons, not 2.5 Tbsp like the video shows. 2.5 Tbsp of recharge wound be 7.5 Tsp into 5 gallons. Is this intentional or are you tripling the dosage on purpose? Also, I have been dosing about 9tsp of grow into a 5 gallon bucket (technucally would be 10 to hit 2tsp per gallon). Should I reduce to 7.5? Thanks! Fainlly your saying every other feeding, I fertilize every 2 weeks during growing season, how often are you dosing?

@Supercellgamer13 жыл бұрын
Can we able to get yellow skin red pulp fruit
@kristinapham30823 жыл бұрын
@@Supercellgamer1 No, you will get a yellow-white. You can try using the pollen of one to fertilize the flower of the other, then get the seeds of the fruit and grow them. You might end up getting the yellow skin and red flesh that you want. Just like how children don't always inherited certain traits from each parents, the seedlings are the same. And also, you might want to graft the seedlings to mature plants to speed up the flowering/fruiting process. Otherwise it can take up to 7 years to get fruits from a seed.

The famous Tabo!!! great vid, just got cuttings from my uncle and so hyped to see it grow. Just wanted to ask, if the stem is already having roots, can i split the cutting into 2 and flip it upside down? The stem he gave me has 4 roots coming out and he said I may be able to cut it in half and get 2 plants form one cutting. Is that correct?
@AhNee3 жыл бұрын
No, don't flip it upside down. If you cut it in, say, half, let it sit and cure for a few days so the cut heals over and dries out, then plant that cut end. He has videos on this, do not plant the opposite end!
