E46 328i (remapped 235hp) vs E46 330ci (stock but gutted 225 hp)

Pretty close but 328 definitely pulls harder at high rpm. Won by 3 car lengths at the 1/4
1999 328i-catless headers custom true dual catback, b30 intake manifold, bumper dinan/CSL style intake, remapped with launch control. Lowering springs 255/40r17 squared
2001 330ci- gutted interior, full suspension, 225/45r17-245/40r17

Hey man! So you have: headers, catback, b30 receiver, ecu and that measured 235 at wheels? You need to drop in b30 intake cam so it probably will ramp up to 250ish

I was estimating at the butt dino 235 crank. So around 200 whp. So with a b30 cam probably close to 210-215 wheel

You can make that motor a little quicker but it won’t be with these cars without spending money on things like Cams. Cheaper to buy a 3.0 than a set of Strict cams. An exhaust and a tune will definitely wake your car up though. Drivability changes as the throttle is more snappy and the Vanos advances timing sooner
