E46 Bluetooth install...
The radio was removed from the dash because I had an issue with the sound not working with the CD changer... The previous owner had for some reason unplugged the 10 pin wire going into the radio it was a matter of plugging it back in and all was well.. For 99% of people this won't be an issue if your CD changer works..
SUPER EASY
cd changer delete and Bluetooth install super easy and you can keep all original equipment in the car and all buttons work on steering wheel etc its amazing really

Hey man I bought one of these, installation easy, phone connects to blue music, can change tracks from the radio and steering wheel, but no sound comes out.. I tried restarting phone, turning volume up all the way, but no sound at all.. When I put a cd or a radio the sound works just fine, but smh not when I connect this.. Any tips/advice? Kr

I actually had this issue also, I’m not 100% sure what it was but I remember I took the radio out of the dash and behind the dash there was a kit for aftermarket radio that someone had left plugged in and once I plugged that out and returned it exactly to stock it worked again tell me how you get on

Just ordered the same one. The others with the bulky adaptor look like a nightmare to install and cram all the wires behind the heat/ac unit

Yeah I just installed one of these for my brother took 5 mins if you car ( his didn’t ) have cd changer in the boot don’t be discouraged look a little deeper the wiring loom for it was up there tucked away, pulled it out and plugged it in and all good

@@JDsGarage Awesome! I do have the CD changer. Do the steering wheel controls work for volume at least? What about advancing tracks etc? Radio display for tracks? Happy to to just have volume control really. Thanks!

@@JDsGarage Finally rec'd the unit. (first one captured by homeland security apparently)Turns out, I don't have the CD changer, but I found the wires, hooked it up, and it works/sounds great. Thanks for your help, cheers!!
