E4L6 in 12.433 - Duke3D IL

First run on the leaderboard with the new trip clip (shoutouts to verybadheadache for discovering this technique, Jan 8th 2022!). This IL is absolutely insane to go for. I have about 15h31m of grind on this, where I estimate 4468 attemps got to roll the dice for getting the guy to shoot the shrink, 223 of those actually got shot and got a clean attempt at the clip, and only 22 actually made it through. Out of those only 3 got the first try trip clip. Had periods where I didn't even get an attempt at the clip for an hour because the guy would just refuse to shoot or completely missed every single time, super hard to stay awake for when you actually need to hit the 33ms unshrink clip timing and then clutch the ending

Beautifully done; you're a beast! Of all the years I played Duke 3D, I never thought about using a tripbomb to clip through a door! :P Glad to see that the tripbombs are actually useful in E1-E4 runs!

OMG Fernito the OG IL god!! Super cool to see that you're still keeping up with Duke, you set the bar absurdly high on some of your runs back in the day :D thanks man, I wanted to break in this new trick with a proper good run so I'm really glad I was able to fluke out this 12.433

Yessir, technique was discovered this Saturday by verybadheadache so we have a lot to do right now for the ILs :) you get popped up a bit when you're falling with enough speed and place a trip bomb, so you can use that to ceiling clip doors like this that have a door frame. At a glance this looks super busted for full runs, but right now it seems that it's only going to save seconds at best for E1-3 runs because of rerouting for steroids, but we'll see.. Ofc, for E4 you save like 30s or something on this clip alone so that's something!
