Nice instructions on bolt and screw locations. It is important to note that there are two retaining clips on each side where the bumper meets the front quarter panels. They ensure a tight fit and an even “visual panel gap”. If one is careful, the bumper can be removed without breaking them. Chance are, you will, especially if it’s your first ever removal. If broken, they are available from the dealer cheaply and are simple to screw on to the panel. I’d suggest buying them beforehand and replacing them, anyway.

GREAT HELP! Your instruction made this job less painful. I purchased the TYC 611400 replacement and when I started AC the fan was beyond noisy. It sounded as it was running 2X the normal speed. Is this normal or did I receive a "bad" one. Thanks again for your video and advice.

I have a similar BMW. I want to replace the turn signal bulb. It looks like I have to remove the bumper as shown in this video in order to get the headlight assembly out far enough to access the turn signal bulb. Any comments?

Yes, you do need to remove it. I just did the whole shebang on mine, and of course managed to break of one the side retaining clips. D'oh!
