Great chat guys, thanks. I'm sure 'Intelligence' is gonna get called 'Swap Meet' at our table! 🥳 "Hey Thor, here's a chump for you!" (was in the middle of typing this line when LT mentioned it too) I guess Maria Hill wont be able to 'cheat' her 'Team: shield' card when not playing leadership since it doesn't have the trait - which is the same for all 'Teams'. As said, it doesn't have a 'uses limit' like Stepford Cuckoos. And is (currently) usable in AE by several IDs. And can hit ANY card type.

It's definitely going to be a popular card! I think it’s powerful, but limited…which is what the the best cards should be.

Congrats on the card reveals! Intelligence obviously gets better as you increase player count, but it still has a place in solo IMO. "Look at 2 encounter cards and take the one you want, and as a bonus you'll know exactly what the next Boost amount is", and as mentioned on the cast it's a Response - neither Forced nor Hero - so some good flexibility there. I'll play it in solo! I feel like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. should be Justice rather than Leadership. I don't mind it not having the S.H.I.E.L.D. trait. I'll run Maria like I run Cyclops: Leadership with a splash of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Another thing to watch out for with the "Maria Hill" Hero and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Team card is that Maria gives all her allies the "S.H.I.E.L.D." trait while in Hero form, but they lose that if she flips to AE, so if she does that and has the Team card out the Team card is nullified and while it technically can be used in AE it won't work in those instances. Still a cool card though and I'm looking forward to using it.

That’s a good call out. I’ve seen a lot of discussion about using the card in AE, but her static ability for allies turns off when she flips down. That could really impact some builds for this card!

I think Intelligence is probably not going to be much good in solo. You always have to discard it, even if you don't make a swap, so it will frequently be two resources for no effect. It's more interesting if you have an idea on what is coming, so decks that can look at the top 2+ cards of the encounter deck should take a closer look. Preparation based heroes will probably prefer to run Spycraft. In multiplayer, it is a lot more interesting. Agents is super powerful for Nick and Maria. Pure SHIELD decks are probably already running Build Support to help grab Sky-Destroyer, so this is another good target. I wish they would have broken the rules a bit and put this in Justice, since Coulson and Quake are there and unless they get new versions you can't assemble the team depicted on the card in Leadership

You can hold onto Intelligence until you want to use it. For example, you draw Advance and would scheme out. So you swap with the top card. Now, you don’t lose the game, and your next boost card has 0 boost icons. Double win.

Fun interview! Intelligence is going to be bonkers! Running Symbiote Suit or Pool shenanigans just got a lot more fun as well. The number of interactions I already see between the cards is super exciting. I also like that it's right then so I can't mess something up. I love Global Logistics solo, but I always make a miscalculation somewhere in multiplayer and someone shuffles or something and throws off my entire setup! I don't know why, but this reveal makes me feel pretty confident one of the heroes will be similar to Gloria from Arkham Horror. Silk (shout out to Winning Hand if correct) or Falcon would both be on theme with their ally cards. Could be way off base here but they just seem to line up perfectly.

@@WinningHandPodcast I'm going to copy/paste: You choose the investigator order during the mythos (enemy) phase. Arrowy Symbol: When you look at 1 or more cards from the encounter deck: Look at 1 additional card and choose 1 non-Elite card among them. Either discard it, put it on top of the encounter deck, or place it facedown beneath Gloria Goldberg (max 3 cards beneath her). Star Symbol: Look at the top card of the encounter deck. I'm not super familiar with Arkham, I've only played three and a half campaigns of it. Never been at a table with Gloria either. I do know from tier lists I've watched she usually has her own tier or is at the top of S-tier. I don't think similar abilities would be as broken in Champions, but don't really have enough to go off of.
