If you don’t reseal that foam water shield then water will leak into the rear seat foot area. This is what happened to my car. 3M sells tacky seal strips for this. The one you reinstalled was no longer sticking to the door.

The interesting part is how you took the lift out withithout removing the glass. Sorry but you skipped over the important part.

did you disconnect the battery terminals prior to working/removing/disconnecting the wires and door panel?

You totally missed the opportunity to explain how the sunshade came off so no one else damages their car doing what you did..

I thought I covered it. You basically don’t have to do anything. It comes off with the door panel.

So you didn't have to remove the glass??? Every video I've seen shows people removing the glass. Would be amazing to not have to take it out lol

I did have to remove the glass. They could’ve made this job a lot easier in sooooo many ways lol

@@StayOnTheGas shitty lol not looking forward to doing this haha my window came off the tracks today on the highway, so pulled the panel off to look. Broke an electrical connector inside at the window switch as well haha was hoping it could have been fixed easilly without a new part,but looks like a regulator is due.

Oh man that sucks! I actually went like 2 years with mine broken lol Make sure you lube the window seals when going back in and it makes it a lot easier

@@StayOnTheGas I am contemplating on leaving it as is haha the window wont stay up as there isnt anything holding it now, so I have a pair of vice grips clamped on the door frame so it wont fall down lol just so frustrating as everything in the car worked beautifully until this.

I don’t know how I got mine to stay up on its own but I had to have someone hit the switch while I pulled it up and once it stayed like that I didn’t touch it anymore haha. It is nice having all the windows work though lol

I've replaced a regulator on a honda and left the glass in so just use a prop.... Can we get DIY videos without the gay music though....?

Every car is different. Done a bunch without having to take the window off too.
