Interesting vlog. I think the removable hasp is for when you are on board. When on board, always remove the hasp, otherwise some numpty could put the hasp onto the staple and push a metal bar or wooden bar through the staple effectively locking you in the boat.

Hi Great blog, I shall be taking your advice. I’ve fitted Swan CCTV inside my boat and it has a months recording on it which the recorder is in a secure place and connected to the internet and linked to my phone. I will be fitting external cameras also but have a good alert system, my Dogue de Bordeaux French Masfiff who doesn’t like people snooping around the boat. He loves being on duty 😂😂😂😂 Keep them coming 👍 Phil

Good video, easy way to secure the back slide is to drill a hole in the runner so that a padlock can be pushed through and locked, the slide can't be pushed forwards without removing the padlock.Impressed with the locks your are using. Caravan security round here is a joke, on secure caravan stores round here, unless the unit is cemented in the ground and surrounded by a 6 ft ditch it goes. Google earth is the TGB's friend. It's been 4 months since I visited my boat, it's Ok, but 2 more months to go.....................

You two are so lovely to help a fellow boater like that’s. I would hope for neighbours like you. Do you do lock fittings for other boaters? We could do with that on the doors of ours. 👌🏻🙏🏻👌🏻🌈

If ever I was moored near other boaters who needed a bit of DIY help I would always offer my services 👍
