Interesting Historical fact, The longest Slave Trade in Human History is the Islamic Slave trade of Sub Saharan Africa at 1300 years (7AD - 1962). Also known as the Trans-Saharan Slave Trade, East African Slave Trade or Arab Muslim Slave trade. The African people have never been compensated for this Slave trade.

Shukran!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. As a Hatian, I've always suspected a connection between Islam and the Haitian Revolution. Especially the "ceremony in Bois-Caymans" or "Bô Kay Imam Nan." If any knowledgeable Haitian historians out there have some info please reach out to me. 💚🇭🇹💓🙏🏿

@wiltonvenant5826 Interesting. Fellow Haitian here. I'm sure you aren't familiar that this narrative being told @1:03:00 is nothing short of the story of the Haitian general and commander of the Royal Navy known as Marcus Mosiah Garvey...the constant watering down and remixing of life of Marcus Mosiah Garvey, the Haitian, and the people of Cape Hayti in the late 1800s - WWII and their immigration into places like Haarlem in the early 1900s is beyond despicable and dismissive. Pirates of The Caribbean? What will make you know what a Haitian is? Go figure

The story about the signet of Rasulullah being passed down from Abu Bakr all the way to Uthman is in a sahih hadeeth. It’s in the shamaa’il al-tirmidhi and other early sources. It was also recorded that Uthman himself knew when that ring was lost, it was going to signify fitnah and it was the start of the fitnah in his caliphate.

really enjoyed this podcast, may Allah bless you two, I would like to mention that the word Ethiopian is a new term, I wish Abyssinian was used more often instead of the term Ethiopian when describing the words used in Quran and Hadith and the link with Arabs. The reason is Abyssinia consisted of Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia, we don't want to be left out lol

24:20 “…Arabs are more racist..” This is a fact. As a black African man, just passing by the Casablanca airport is enough justification of anti blackness/racism of Arabs. I have heard so many stories from people who live in the Middle East as well. However I’ve also made great Arabs that showed me genuine love like no other races

Moroccans are not Arabs. It’s just the language that’s spoken. At the time of the Islamic conquest it was only 5% of the population. Moroccans are a collection Amazigh Tribes. What did you see in Casablanca to come to the conclusion you have? Never mind the fact you’ve attributed it to the wrong people! 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@seanou2837 Majority of Moroccans know exactly which tribe they’re from! Yes there is Arab mixed but there is also Sub Saharan mixed & European too. Arab DNA in Moroccans ranges from 5-20% today. At the time of conquest it was 5% of the population. The majority of Moroccans are Amazigh!! That’s a fact!!! You’re taking a minority & making it the identity of the majority.
