I say this with all due respect and reverence, but Thank You God for the internet and Thank You for KZbin and Thank You , thank You Thank You for this podcast!! I am living in a pretty isolated and secluded area and without this LIGHT and truth I would've thought I am the only one going through this and experiencing these things. Once again a spot-on podcast and message. I pray for all the Saints around the world that we may know more and more the Love of God in our inner being. I pray for the Spirit to bring an order and peace to our way of doing life, so that we may know the compassion and Grace of God. I pray that for the Wild at Heart team and their families and their world's. May the be encouraged this day and this week and pray for renewed energy. amen

Love this. I'm a catholic from Ireland but really benefit from the teachings of John and the team, some of which goes against what I was taught growing up. Fair play lads 🙏

Thank you for this! I have been under this fog that felt like apathy and I thought it was me and that God was mad at me for some reason. Then the confusion and thought-paralysis crept in, leaving me feeling desolate and abandoned not sure how or what to pray. I now know how to fight this and will be partnering with God on how to fight the external as well as the internal. I have hope again that I am not the only one! Thanks for the equipping!

Enjoyed this from my treadmill (running and walking is where I trample... from that Scripture) this morning, a friend shared this with me and i"m thankful. Spot on and timely. Felt like a fog was over me all year last year and am asking God what that was about. I'm listening!

When the baptism of the Holy Spirit came to the Church, He manifested in wind and fire....breath and glory. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is essential for us to navigate the realm of the spirit correctly!

Several years ago three of our local Bellingham WA ladies were getting on a plane to attend a Captivating retreat. We had a great time of prayer the night before they were to leave. The next morning I was driving to Seattle to attend classes at The Seattle school of Theology and Psychology. I started praying intensely about 20 minutes outside of Seattle. I was asking Jesus what was going to come against these three lovely ladies. After a time of conversation with Jesus, I "heard" Him say, "confusion." As I exited I-5 onto the Mercer St exit I started to pray to shut down the spirit of confusion over these ladies. A few minutes later, in 7:30 am Seattle rush hour traffic, I was overcome with what I can only say was confusion and I turned left into a large commercial truck. There was a loud crashing sound and my VW Jetta came to a lurching stop in the exact middle of the Mercer and 5th intersection. I got out of my car shaken but not hurt and from four different directions, about 12 lanes of traffic was stopped with faces of rage at being disrupted by me. I felt the whole world collapsing in on me. This stuff is real!! And...lesson learned be careful where, when, and how you go to war.

Thank you so much! I’ve been pursuing my role as one who is given the authority to cast out demons. I’m entirely stoked about all I’m learning so as is natural for me, I’m sharing what I’m learning with other believers and they either have the deer in a headlight look or they warn me of the dangers…”Just worship” they say although that delivers me from evil it does nothing for the one living captivated/held hostage by the demonic because of the many many years spent in occult practices. My 10:35 childhood friend that I love! I am grabbing the idea that God is unveiling the demonic so we can clearly see them and act appropriately!!!

Brought some definition, clarity to something I realized or observed in 2016 and since experienced and dealing with currently. Something I am very ignorant intellectually about but learning and experiencing in the spirit. Thank you, so much to process in your podcast.

I know many of you are familiar with St. John of the Cross and the Dark night of the soul/spirit. Based on how I have come to understand a “Dark Night” it sounds similar to what Pablo went through. Which leads me to be prompted to ask how to discern between a Dark Night experience with God and the experiences highlighted in Pablo’s account. It’s been on my heart since John has been daylighting this, and I would appreciate your consideration.

So it’s interesting to me to hear this because the spiritual realm has been something that the Lord has been leading me into. (Some of this is discovery as I write so bear with me) it started for me when I most recently asked about my name and heard Abraham. (Shocked me, aside from the 1100 mile move to Colorado not long ago). Within a few months, I encountered Blaine’s writing on the podcast of the coronation arrival in heaven, followed closely by the scene he wrote of the birth of Christ, bit of which recalled a vivid vision from my teen years where the majesty of the throne room was opened before me. Then in preparation for launching Paradise King, Blaine once more triggered a vision. In sharing the story, not of Abraham, but of Josiah, I saw before me the twisted one called as Baal. Knowing that his prey had become wary of the overt evil of child sacrifice, he has donned a lab coat and rips his victims apart in the womb. It still sickens me to see the vision in my mind, and I do not believe that is of demonic origin, because it is the horror of the unborn being destroyed before his plans can work on them. To be sure several time it was presented to me to cause fear, but only the sorrow and anger at the injustice remains. I know not what role I’m intended for with this capacity, whether it is shall we say ordinary Christian life, or if there is some greater role as a seer that I am to have. Reading the whole of Paradise King, I am forever grateful to Blaine for his expansion of my capacity to set the story in context. I also appreciate him letting me understand more of Abraham than the time I have read and reread his story in the Bible. If it is part of my name, for I have long seen the names we are given do not abandon us, but remain part of who we are for all eternity. I have also become more aware of the spiritual experience in my life and family. I have foolishly cast down a gauntlet, daring to rid more than my authority of darkness at one time, and suffered the anger and divisions that called to my home and household. I will never forget the day spent continuing to pray for God to subdue the attacks that arrived that day. The constant barrage of accusations between my wife and I. My terrible anger at my son as he seemed to rebel all day. Jesus was gracious enough to say to me after, “perhaps you make sure you have more allies around next time you offer one on one combat. His minions never fight fair.” He was not castigating me for taking my stand, but reminding me that I’m still learning, and that I have a tendency to try big things like that alone. Anyway, I want to thank Blaine for using the storytelling gifts he has to reach out into the world with his light. I know not what connection we share, save that his words seem, at least in this season, to call me to the spiritual world with understanding and a closeness to God to face these things as bright and terrible as they can be.

@50:30 - Regarding the breath of God as a weapon, more exposition on that in Psalm 29 and the Voice of God or said differently, the Thunder of God. The word translated voice is קוֹל, qowl, which also means thunder. In Psalm 29 there are 7 characteristics outlined of the Voice of God 🙏

Thank you, gentlemen, for bringing this to us and so eloquently discussing it. John, you have repeated a phrase over and over, which is obviously appropriate, the phrase "the unseen realm." I can't help to think of Dr. Michael S. Heiser's book, The Unseen Realm, listening to this conversation. That book completely shifted, in so many areas, my worldview. Again, thank you for this episode, and may the Lord richly bless you and your families, in Jesus' name. Amen.

People should perhaps re-read Frank Peretti novels like This Present Darkness or Piercing the Darkness. They remind you of the friendliness of initial contact with demons - and their turning on you later.

good advice. Its exactly what they do. They lovebomb you, they offer a variety of amazing experiences. They speak truth in the beginning, slightly misleading you to get addicted. They blameshift: They lie to you deceptionally and intentionally, and then trap you in "getting it wrong". And: They make you doubt, always, the goodness and sovereignty of God. They elevate you and subtle dismiss God. Its like the old Highland soldiers: They attack you out of an ambush when you feel totally safe. You dont see it coming. And then, you dont want to believe it, because they were so nice and gentle before. Theyll smell like lavender and then, theyll smell like decay. Its exactly how I experienced it 20 years ago. They are...too sweet.

How many of these conversations take our focus away from Jesus? Col 2:18 "Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind..." The question then becomes, WHY are we all of a sudden spending so much time talking about this stuff? Not because it's necessary, rather because IT is the distraction. Following Jesus is simple and its costs us. Adding all these extra things can't push us closer to Jesus. Go listen, weigh it with scripture in community and be obedient. Not complicated at all. We just don't want to do it so we overcomplicate it to try and make it simple and end up making it weirder and worse to appease our spiritual appetites that have been shifted from Jesus to this. Want to read your bible in a year? Pick it up and read it like a book (it will happen A LOT faster if you do.) Want to spend time sitting and listening, get up earlier/stay up later in the quite. Want to see the power of God at work, go do it. No fire without sacrifice. I love you guys and get lots from the wisdom of life you share. However if you don't want this stuff to get anymore publicity then stop talking about it. Blurrycreatures (assuming the podcast you refer to in the beginning) is for fun. Don't make fun things hyper-spiritual because you don't like or understand why people are interested in them. Same reason people watch The Chosen, something to do while we pass time like everyone else and its interesting. Christians today take things so seriously. Why? God is love, joy, hope, so our lives shouldn't reflect fear of the things the creator made. We don't understand it and we're not supposed to thats why we don't know anything about it. The whole world is a demonic system. God is ALLOWING it to be that way. If we go around our entire lives looking for the demonic we'll find it. It is literally everywhere, and worse still we miss looking for Jesus. If we have Jesus the demonic doesn't matter. Stand in victory! The war is won! Go act like it.

It seems like and sounds like you missed the whole point. It happens when we hurry in forming a final opinion based on a first impression (whether in a conversation, or when reading a book, watching a movie, listening to a podcast, assessing a situation, and so on. And it can happen to any of us at some point). And when that happens, this hurried impression becomes a lens through which we continue to form our further judgement. A piece of advice would be to take off the 'lenses' you used when listening to this podcast or perhaps the prior one and listen again and anew - believing and accepting the very fact that, in his writings and podcasts, the vast focus of John and his team is on how to walk with God, knowing and following Jesus while being assisted by the Holly Spirit, how to be fathered by God, how to partner with God in his mission. Yes, without ignoring the spiritual warfare since Jesus talked about it more than once, Paul talked about it more than once. Yet this level of profound, percipient understanding, even analysis of the spiritual realm and warfare and its implications is but seldom conveyed in his podcasts. Yet all the while necessary, since we do live at the end of the age. Read Revelation for a change!
