Installing a new starter and cleaning the idle control valve for the BMW E92 M3. This DIY guide covers how to access the throttle actuators, remove intake plenum, ICV, and secondary air pump to get to the starter at the center of the V8 S65 engine. If your BMW M3 does not crank or has intermittent startup issues, it is most likely your starter solenoid causing the no start. Error codes I got were A0C1 output terminal 50 and A0B4.
