@@Coleesworld I have an 06 4 door sedan... Often referred to as e9x x can be 0..2..3.. all the guts are the pretty much the same granted 6 cyl natural . ..or turbo... maybe an 8 cyl but same difference... .. for the model years only defence... Is what is in the out side... Body as a 2 door convertible, 2 door hard top, 4 doors or a hatchback. For example if there was a 325i e9x. No matter what that x equals.. it's still the same car... Just different on the outside .. so if it's a m3 e9x it's an M so it's 2 door for those years... And not a 4 door or a hatchback etc.etc... obviously therefore... Logic and BMW nomenclature tells ya... What it is.. M just adds more engine and more hardy brakes/suspension to the same car... That they used for that 325i they put a 6 cylinder in... It was a very wise ...and cost effective way, to not only market the car..., also for manufacturing... why build 5 cars...whem you can basically just built ..1. Creating...well....an engineering masterpiece.... Those Germans, ya gotta luv em! Companies around the world started copying this way of designing cars...once they saw how well it was working.
