Glad to see they're still building up the white spring. It was quite plain when i was there.

Agreed! It’s totally fine to drink the water from iron rich springs, as long as it’s small amounts. The chalybeate spring in Tunbridge Wells is another example of a spring rich in iron. It’s only if you switch to using it as your main source of water that there could be a problem. Thanks for helping me to clarify what I said!

I’d love to take my camera back and show you how it is now it’s open in the building. However, there’s a strict no photos no filming rule. It’s a scared place where people disrobe and bathe in the waters, so it’s not appropriate. I’ve taken people I’m training to be shamans for water initiations in here. There’s a big pool and a series of small deep chambers for total immersion, When I emerge from the water I feel revitalised. For hours afterwards my skin feels so soft. It calms and relaxes any sore skin. The candle lit atmosphere is so calming. Often people in the sacred space sing, chant mantras, and enjoy the sound echoing within. I’ve heard people singing opera, whatever they feel like. A team of volunteers keep the space open and cared for, flowers, candles lit….visitors leave donations

I've heard that the Red Spring is a bit radioactive. The water from the White Spring pipe on the outside of the Well House is passed through an irridiating light. The best waters inside.

Interesting…..if the water is irradiated it will be with ultraviolet light, which is about the most harmless intervention water gets exposed to by humans…..infinitely better than chlorine of fluoride…..

Are people still allowed inside?
@UTshaman Жыл бұрын
Yes, last time I checked it was 1-4pm every Tuesday Friday and Sunday

Why do you say the red spring is bad for men? What about it is bad for us?
@UTshaman3 жыл бұрын
The red spring water is rich in iron. This is fine if you menstruate as you would be losing iron every month as this would top up your levels. For men, it’s likely you would end up with too much iron in your body. So, to be more accurate, women who don’t menstruate are advised not to drink water rich in iron and men with iron deficiency could make use of the water ok.

@@UTshaman But having small amounts for the sake of tasting, as far as I can conclude from what you've said, isn't a problem, right?

naked people there, strangers to each other, wash their bodies (shameful)

maybe I'm healing from illnesses, I need to be naked and immerse myself in water
