Nice review! one thing never mentioned in the guide is you have to check if you have a 'runner" - that is drone will continue to fly strong after losing signal from controller. if drone ignores losing signal, then it will inevitably get lost as it will fly far far away. Some E88/E99 drones do power down when signal is lost, but you can't tell what you will get in advance.

@ coldspring22 Thank you for your insightful comment! You bring up a crucial point about drone behavior upon losing signal. It's true that some E88/E99 drones may continue flying when they lose connection, potentially leading to them flying out of range. To address this issue effectively, manufacturers could consider implementing a 'fly to home' feature. This feature would automatically activate when the drone detects a low battery or loses connection with the controller. It would help prevent drones from getting lost and enhance the overall safety and user experience, especially for budget-friendly models like the E88/E99. I believe such a feature would be immensely beneficial and provide users with greater confidence and security when flying their drones. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and contributing to the discussion on drone safety and usability!"

Implementing a feature like 'fly to home' upon detecting low battery could greatly improve user experience and help prevent situations like yours. It's a feature that I believe would benefit many drone enthusiasts. Thanks for sharing your experience, and I hope you're able to retrieve your drone soon!

Is there a safe way to test this????
@sarangamenike4 ай бұрын
@@TheShamanWitch72 Thank you for your question! Yes, there are safe ways to test your E99 drone. Which I should have explained in the video and I totally missed that. Thanks for asking it. Here are some tips: 1. Read the Manual: Ensure you've read the user manual thoroughly to understand the drone's operation and safety guidelines. 2. Choose an Open Area: Test your drone in a wide, open space away from people, pets, and obstacles. A park or an empty field is ideal. 3. Check Weather Conditions: Fly your drone in calm weather conditions. Avoid windy or rainy days, as they can affect the drone's stability. 4. Perform a Pre-Flight Check: Inspect the drone for any damages, ensure the battery is fully charged, and calibrate if necessary. 5. Start Slow: Begin with basic maneuvers and keep the drone at a low altitude until you get comfortable with its controls. By following these steps, you can safely test your E99 drone and enjoy its features. Happy flying!

Hi! I bought the e99 drone. the one you have. It only came with the six-page manual. I did not get the second that you got for the app to sink your phone with the 4k camera. Can you please take a picture of the qr code and post for me to scan?
@sarangamenike2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I don’t have that manual with me. But, as i remember the E99 Pro drone does not specifically require a QR code to connect the camera to a mobile app. Typically, connecting the drone to your mobile device involves the following steps: 1. Download the App: Search for the app associated with the E99 Pro drone in your device’s app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). The app name is usually provided in the manual. 2. Turn on the Drone: Power on the E99 Pro drone, and it will emit a Wi-Fi signal. 3. Connect via Wi-Fi: Go to your mobile phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone’s Wi-Fi network (which will likely have a name related to the drone model). 4. Open the App: Once connected via Wi-Fi, open the drone’s app, and the camera feed should display on your mobile device. Some drone manufacturers may include QR codes to make downloading the app easier, but it's not required to connect the camera. Just ensure you follow the app and Wi-Fi connection steps. In the video if you pause the video when it is in the screen you should be able to see the instructions …

Do you have to pay to install the drone to your phone??
@sarangamenike3 ай бұрын
Sorry for the two-day delay in responding to your question. As far as I know, there isn't a paid app required to control or fly this drone. You can simply fly with the joystick you receives with it. If you come across a phone App that can be used to control this drone, please let me know. But if you're asking about the app for viewing video from the drone, the answer is no, there's no cost for that either....

I got that drone I'm having troubles connecting to the camera though
@sarangamenike4 ай бұрын
It would be greate if you can elaborate the scenario bit more so that I can help. I know connecting the camera can be a bit tricky at first! Make sure you've completed the initial setup steps like charging the drone fully and ensuring the remote control and drone are properly synced. If you're still having trouble, double-check the WiFi connection between your phone and the drone's camera. Sometimes restarting both devices can also help establish a solid connection. On the other hand, would you be able to make sure you have installed the correct APP as well.....

@@TheShamanWitch72 Thanks for the update! Great to hear you got the camera set up correctly! I'd love to know what the original issue was. It sounds like there might still be a connection issue between the drone and the camera or the video transmitter is malfunctioning, which seems to be a unique problem with your drone. If it's still under warranty, it might be best to return it and get a new one. If not, you might need to reach out to support for help. Hope this gets sorted out for you soon! Hey guys... I just got my E99 and I ran into a problem. I can't get my lithium batteries to charge. I'm using the li po usb cables it came with. When I plug it in, the red light comes on for less than a minute. And when I leave it to charge for an hour or two, the battery is still not charged when plugged into the drone, whose lights are blinking with low battery signal. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your input...
@sarangamenike2 ай бұрын
As a rule of thumb, especially for hardware or embedded engineers, always check the cable first. It sounds like there might be an issue with the charging cable or the battery itself. Try using a different USB power source, like a wall adapter instead of a computer port, and make sure the battery is securely connected to the charger. If the problem persists, the battery might be faulty and may need to be replaced. Hope this helps! Please don't forget to update how things goes in your end .....

One blade is not spinning
@sarangamenike3 ай бұрын
It could be due to several potential issues. Here’s a breakdown of the possible causes and how to resolve them (Please note that I have never tried to do any of the possible approaches in this drone though I have tried in very high performing drone. So some of the approach might not applicable here): 1. Motor Issue Cause: The motor responsible for spinning that particular blade might be damaged or faulty. Resolution: Check the motor: Inspect the motor for any visible damage. If the motor is burnt out or damaged, it may need to be replaced. Test the motor: Swap the motor with another one from a different arm of the drone to see if it works. If the motor doesn’t work on another arm, it’s likely the motor itself is faulty and needs replacement. 2. Propeller Issue Cause: The propeller might be loose, damaged, or not properly attached. Resolution: Check the propeller: Ensure the propeller is securely attached to the motor shaft. Tighten if necessary. Inspect for damage: Look for any cracks or warping. If the propeller is damaged, replace it with a new one. 3. ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) Problem Cause: The ESC, which controls the speed of the motor, might be malfunctioning. Resolution: Test the ESC: If you have a multimeter or a spare ESC, you can check if the ESC is delivering power to the motor. If the ESC is faulty, it will need to be replaced. 4. Wiring or Connection Issue Cause: Loose or damaged wiring might be preventing the motor from receiving power. Resolution: Inspect the wiring: Check the wires connecting the motor to the ESC and the drone’s mainboard for any signs of damage, disconnection, or loose connections. Resolder or replace: If you find any faulty connections, resolder or replace the wires as necessary. 5. Debris or Obstruction Cause: Dirt, debris, or an obstruction could be preventing the motor from spinning. Resolution: Clean the motor: Carefully inspect the motor and propeller for any debris and remove it. A small brush or compressed air can be used to clean out any dirt. Note that these cheap drone may not have high withstand power if it hit ground or obstacle which break the functionality....

Ot slams into walls. Its every where. Why? Even if you didnt touch the controller
@sarangamenike8 күн бұрын
Thank you for bringing this to my attention! If the drone is slamming into walls without input from the controller, it could be due to a few potential issues: 1. Calibration: Ensure that the drone's gyroscope and compass are properly calibrated before flying. Check the manual for calibration steps. 2. Signal Interference: Flying near Wi-Fi routers, power lines, or other electronics can interfere with the drone's signal and cause erratic behavior. 3. Malfunctioning remote? Interesting issue.. Like to here more feedback if you get resolved it or if above response was helpful...

That’s definitely not normal. It sounds like there's an issue with the battery. I recommend reaching out to the seller to request a replacement. If they don’t respond, consider leaving a review on their page to get their attention. For reference, I was able to fly mine for around 15 minutes (though I didn’t time it exactly).
