I was 38 weeks pregnant and found out I had cancer I had to hurry heal from delivering my son to go straight into surgery and cancer treatment with newborn. I was terrified I wouldn’t see my son grow up. So in that time at Duke cancer center I created so many memories with my son no matter how sick I got I still took him to the zoo and all kinds of fun places even though he was a newborn and couldn’t remember it he would have videos and pictures. I had stage 3 leiomyosarcoma cancer. I felt like I had been sentenced to death. Long story short my son saved my life bc he took my nutrients instead of cancer and slowed it down but once I had him it spread fast. They wouldn’t have found it in time either if I wasn’t 38 wks pregnant. Keep in mind my job fired me bc they said I already took my time with having my son and surgery etc so I was traveling 4-5 hr away to Duke lost my insurance it was a nightmare but man I gained everything bc guess what even though it has such a high chance coming back and I have had 31 surgeries I am 13 years with my baby boy. 13 beautiful years.

You have every right to keep such news in your small circle. You all need time to deal with it. I lost my mom to Leukemia in 2008. We kept it in our family. It is not anyone's business until you want it to be.

I cried the whole time I was watching this show. I hope you are doing well. ❤ I am on 11 weeks with open wounds on my breast that I have desperately trying to get healed. Necrosis has appeared and I have to go through another surgery. It sucks!! 😢

Anything to do with your healthy can be so scary. Unfortunately, cancer is something that is just so common these days but it is breast cancer that has progressed to be able to give patients a positive prognosis. I know someone who lost her mum to breast cancer and who found out she had it also. She went through thirteen rounds of chemotherapy and survived! You don't have to talk about it unless you really want to but with talking about something like this focusses on the illness, when it's more important to focus on the wellness and recovery. I have to say something about Bill though, he is SUCH a phenomenal loving husband!

Do you mean they don't deserve this? Considering that this is about her having cancer?

You had No reason to apologize for crying. You just heard something shocking. That is just fine. You are so brave. They would have had to pick me up off the floor.

How did that clinic let her go through a cycle when generally they won’t start until they have the mammogram results. It only elevated the cancer with the hormone shots.

Actually, what a young woman is diagnosed with breast cancer before starting chemotherapy. They usually recommend she go through round of IVF and egg retrieval. Chemotherapy will ruin her fertility. It’s very standard. They’ve done studies that one round of IVF doesn’t advance the cancer.

No. 1. Mammograms are not a good idea as the radiation is bad for breast tissue! Biopsies are also bad as the moment they pierce the Tumour, the cancer leaks out into the blood stream and could possibly come out anywhere in the body!

When someone is so thin like her, or extremely overweight it is had for the body to maintain a pregnancy or even get pregnant.

Could they not have put her under general anesthesia as she was in the MRI? I definitely think so. The pain and duration of not moving, while in a claustrophobic MRI, warrants being put to sleep.
@StancyTalk2 ай бұрын
There’s no way. We do MRIs dozens every day. You can’t pull in an anesthesiologist, sedation, which requires life-support. People who are under anaesthesia require being intubated. You can’t have a ventilator in an MRI. It is a metal machine. MRIs are a huge magnet. This would kill the patient immediately. Where is peoples sense?

I never wish anyone cancer. But I have to say, if she were to lose all her hair, I bet she'd wish to have zendaya's hair. Bet she wishes she never said her hair smelled like petroleum.
